"I'm going to go get some punch. Do you want anything?" Charlie asked as I got up from my chair.

"No I'm fine. I actually am going to go use he ladies room real quick. I'll be back."

"Ok... Don't get kidnapped on me again." He smiled before placing a kiss on my lips.

I smiled, "Didn't plan on it."

I started to make my way to the other side of the room.

Xander pov

I slid my mask over my face to hide my features from her. I couldn't let her know that I wasn't Charlie just yet. I spotted Charlie across the room next to the snack table they had carelessly sat up. I was making bets in my head on how many people had spiked the punch.

I glided over to the table and when Charlie wasn't looking I slipped the sleeping drug inside of his cup.

I walked away and then turned around to see him take a sip of the drink. I smiled evilly then made my way to the other side of the room.

"Allie would you dance with me?" Charlie asked as I stepped out of the bathroom.

"Sure lets go." I took his extended hand and he pulled me onto the dance floor.

I placed a hand on his should and he placed his on my waist, the music slowed to a peaceful melody and we glided across the dance floor, never taking our eyes off the others.

His hands seemed a little bigger, eyes a silver gray, his hair was raven black. Something I hadn't seen in a while. This wasn't Charlie. This man was different. Much, much different. I already knew. Xander, formally known as Alexander. My childhood friend and also the guy I had fallen for. Ya, I did fall for Charlie too, but Xander had been something so much different, he was danger and safety rolled into one. He also knew how to make a girl feel so special. Right up until I had gotten knocked up due to a drunk one night stand. Stupid, stupid, stupid!

"Hello doll face." He whispered huskily against my ear.

"Hi Alex." I whispered against his shoulder.

"I've missed you."

"I've missed you too." I looked up at him, tears glistening in my eyes, "So, so much."

His eyes brightened and I knew that he was happy but I had one question, "What did you do to Charlie?"

"Slipped him a rupee." He said smirking evilly.

"How long did it take for him to crash?"

"About 5 minutes or so."

I nodded, "Nice. New record?"

"Yes, new record. Only gave him 1 last time, this time I gave him 2. He is a big guy after all, but I'm bigger." He winked at me and I giggled.

"Wanna know a secret?" I asked.

"Only from you."

"I really suck at dancing and would love to get off this dance floor. I can only pretend for so long you know. I had to stand on Charlie's feet earlier. Luckily this dress hides it. I'm standing on your feet now." I rambled.

"I know. Let's get out of here. I know the perfect place."

"Alex why didn't you come after me earlier?" I asked as threw my heels behind me and started walking barefoot in the sand. We were on a beach and I was getting sick of this outfit. Xander had cut off his black slacks to make them look like shorts and his shoes had been lost long ago.
