Chpt 1: Connecting with the Perfect Horse

After weeks of searching for a horse on Highcountryhorse.com I came across a beautiful mare that caught my eyes of a unique color an messaged the man. Excitement ran through me when he responded back that she was still available an he was interested in trades. I had a nice broke medicine hat paint mare that was way too tall for me i offered up to him.
So we exchanged photos of our horses an their pedigrees an thought on it. I, of course ,was already in love an was hoping he would agree.
A week later the man contacted me an agreed to trade even up an since both our mares were in foal we'd exchange foals back at weaning time. I typed up a legal contract with everything needed in it. My heart was gonna finally be healed from losing my first horse when i was young.  The day came when my new mare was on her way. The owner was delivering her to me an picking up his new horse i had. It was such an explosive day of happiness not just for me but my kids as well. They were gonna get to see their mom have the horse of her dreams an connect with her on the greatest bonding level that can ever happen. 
I hear a loud truck coming down road n look out front windows an there's a stock trailer attached with what i can see a lot of horses in it. The truck an trailer back into my driveway an my heart starts racing so hard i cant hold the happiness back for long. The man comes to back of trailer n unloads 2 horses n ties them to side of trailer to get to my new horse who excitedly jumps off trailer talking up a storm an listening to my other horses talking back as my stallion can hear n smell her. The man the man then proceeds to tell me , it'll be another $350 cash on top of the other mare or im loading her back up n leaving. I was devastated at the nerve of what i now know he is a horse trader/dealer n has no passion for these majestic creatures from god. So of course she wasnt getting back on that trailer so i paid him the money. He did take my horse as he had her sold already to a good home thank god. I also made hom sign the contracts i typed up.
Long story short is he tried saying my horse wasnt in foal but the owners sent me pictures of the foal day it was born an continued to till i lost touch. They kept n raised foal as i told them they could. As for the mare i got came in heat next day after delivery an kept rolling under my fence to get in with my stud. 10 months later she had a beautiful filly we had DNA as this man tried scamming not only me but apt of people. He tried taking my foal she had from my stud saying it was his. This mare had already been through enough in the short time she's been on earth she didn't need anymore bother from this man in her life anymore. She had 2 fillies before she had one for me an she was only 6 yrs old.
