"Hey Sasuke, are you sure about this?"

"Yeah, I hate to agree with him but is this the best idea? Going back there?"

"Yes, I wouldn't worry about them capturing me, they're too weak." Sasuke said. "Besides, I'm certain he's had enough of that village right about now."

"Alright then...Hey Karin, how long will it take us to get to the Leaf?" Suigetsu asked.

"Why are you asking me? Anyway, it'll take us approximately three to five days to get there." Karin said as she repositioned her glasses.

"Well considering where we are, that's not bad, I guess" Jugo spoke. "But it's still faaarrr! I don't think my legs can carry me that far..." Suigetsu complained. "Just shut up and go pack your stuff!" Karin scolded

"Humph! I don't wanna! Besides I already did that."

"Then shut up!"

"Fine!"

"Fine!"

They started to stare daggers at eachother.

Jugo frantically looked between them, he looked like he wanted to say something.

"Both of you keep quiet, you're acting like toddlers." Sasuke said.

"B-But Sasuke! He started it! And-"

"-I don't care" Sasuke interrupted. "We have a task to complete, and with your pointless bickering, we are being delayed."

'Sasuke looks irritated...' Jugo thought

"Let's get going, we don't have any more time to waste."

Picking up his sword and adjusting his robe. "Alright, I guess we're really doing this huh? Suigetsu complained again.

"Yes we are stupid! How many times are you going to say-"

"It was a rhetorical question, four-eyes" Suigetsu mumbled. "I heard that!" Karin shouted.

"Both of you stop already! You're getting on Sasuke's nerves" Jugo scolded the two.

"Well it's his fault for having such thin skin." Suigetsu said irritated.

"What was that?!" Karin asked in an annoyed tone. Suigetsu just stuck out his tongue.

They just carried on bickering,

A day had gone by and they were now resting under a tree. They had made a campfire and sat in silence. Karin was cleaning her glasses, Suigetsu was practicing with his sword nearby and Sasuke was just resting his eyes with Jugo sleeping next to him.

"By the way Sasuke, what's this "Naruto" guy like?" Suigetsu asked as he walked closer towards the group. This seemed to grab Karin's attention.

'I've always wanted to ask Sasuke about this Naruto person, but I didn't want to bother him' Karin thought. Sasuke opened his eyes and eyes Suigetsu. "What? I'm just curious." Suigetsu said.

Sasuke just closed his eyes again. 'Well damn, so much for bonding. I'll just lay down I guess." Suigetsu thought.

"He's stupid."

"Huh?" Karin and Suigetsu deadpanned.

"He's careless and weak." Sasuke continued. To be honest, Naruto didn't sound like much to Karin anyway. "Well then if he's weak, why are we going to recruit him?!" Suigetsu said obviously irritated.

'Because I can't destroy the leaf on my own, I need him.' is what Sasuke wanted to say.

"Because we share the same ideals." Is what he said instead. "Well if you both wanted the same thing, why did you leave him behind in the first place then?" Suigetsu asked.

"It's because he was weak and naïve then." Sasuke said, opening his eyes to look at the fire. "Being Hokage was his main goal then, I'm certain his goal has changed now."

'Wow, Sasuke was friends with a guy like him? He sounds like a total idiot.' Karin said as she put back on her now clean glasses.

"Huhh? What makes you think that?" Suigetsu asked.

"It's been two years Suigetsu, besides..." Sasuke trailed off.

"Besides? Besides what?!"

"You'll see once you meet him..." Sasuke smirked.

'Well that's certainly interesting...' Karin said closing her eyes.

"Well I hope this is worth it." Suigetsu said leaning against a tree.
