Jin woke up the next day earlier than he intended. It was still dark outside. So, to pass his time, he quickly finished his morning routines and sat with Taehyung's notebook in the patio. The sun started rising slowly over the horizon. Breathing in the breeze of fresh air with his eyes closed, he felt alive. He looked down at the notebook in his hand and continued from where he left the previous day.

Taehyung jumped into the water and kept himself afloat. He felt calm but lonely. After an hour, he came out of the water and took a bath. He walked back to his cabin, stood in front of the mirror and stared at the pink rashes that started forming on his arm stretched over to his nape. It was the outcome of his reckless decision.

"To come here was my decision, but sometimes our own decisions stare right back us taunting us to speak up when it's outcomes fire back at us"

Taehyung stood in the patio with an oil lamp lighted and placed beside him. He was staring ahead at the endless darkness that was spread out infront of him. He looked up at the starlit sky and missed Jiho.

"How could I have ever known that there won't be electricity, gas or even drinking water here? But no, I will not accept defeat without a fight. But still, the loneliness that surrounds me here is suffocating. I sometimes wish you were here with me Jiho. I really miss you"

Jin closed the notebook and got himself ready and left for the hospital.

The doctor who was in his mid 50s examined Jin's right arm and asked him "Are you left-handed or right-handed?". Jin answered "Right-handed", to which the doctor nodded and responded with a serious face "Then start learning to do things with your left hand, since we need to amputate your right arm". Jin was shocked. He stared at the doctor with wide-eyes and mumbled meekly "What?".

The doctor looked at Jin seriously and suddenly winked at him chuckling and said "Just kidding son. No need to worry much. Luckily, it’s just a hairline fracture. A short arm cast and the prescribed medicines should set it right. It will be fine in a few days. A nurse will help with the casting. I will go get the prescription for you. Please wait here as it may take some time". He smiled at Jin and left him alone on the bed.

Jin blinked at the doctor's back for a few seconds trying to process how the doctor acted with him. He then turned back and was looking all around the room. Some more time passed by and still there was sight of neither the nurse nor the doctor.

While waiting for them, he took out Taehyung’s notebook from his backpack and started reading.

Taehyung sat on the hospital bed. The doctor entered the room and Jiho spoke "Doctor, please check him and tell us if it's serious. I am really concerned". Doctor asked Taehyung "Show me the rashes". Jiho kept on blabbering "I asked him not to go to that school, still..." Taehyung cut Jiho saying "Jiho relax!!".

Doctor examined the rash and answered "It's an allergic reaction. It could have happened due to anything in the water. I will write down a few medicines and an ointment, apply it and it should be fine in a few days".

Jiho again started with his complaints "Few days. What will happen after few days? He will return back to that school again. He doesn't even know to swim properly and still will jump in the water. Then what??" Doctor calmly listened to his complaints and turned to Taehyung "I will send in the medicines" saying this the doctor left the room.

Once the doctor left the room Jiho asked "Why are you being so stubborn Tae? I told you not to go to that school, still you did not listen to me. What if I want to meet you? I would have to wait for weekends to meet you, that too I would have to travel for hours to reach you. What if something happens to you during the weekdays, you will have to wait for me till the weekend".
