Epilogue

Seokie's dad shut the book close and saw the children sleeping soundly cuddling each other. He smiled warmly at them.

He looked at the door when he heard the doorknob being turned. He saw his sister standing at the door and immediately signaled her to be quiet.

She nodded and took a look at the children. She smiled and walked towards them. She kissed both of them on their foreheads and motioned for her brother to go out of the room with her.

Now that the brother and sister duo were out of the room, she asked her brother curiously "So?? How did it go? How did they react to the story?".

They sat on the kitchen counter with some hot brewed tea in their hands.

Her brother chuckled at her enthusiasm and answered "Well, what would you do if I said that they fell asleep even before they heard the ex-army officer's name?".

She pouted and said "What could I do? I am just sad they couldn't listen to the whole story".

He smiled at her who in his eyes is still his baby sister.

He patted her shoulder and said "Calm down Byeol, they are still young, they have time to know the story. And I wonder why you are so determined for them to know it?".

"I want them to see our T appa and J appa in the same light we see them. I want them to know that love just doesn't mean to fall for the looks, it's something much more divine" told Byeol.

He was surprised and asked her "Don't you think it's too early for them, they are just kids".

She nodded and answered "I know. But it's never too soon or too late to know about love. Besides that, T and J appa's story taught us how love and care can solve many problems. Remember how J appa conquered our friends' hearts? And not to forget how it solved Jimin's problem? J appa could do it because of T appa's support. And there are many more to learn. Don't you agree, Dal?".

Dal raised his hands in surrender and told "I am not even going to argue on that. Anyways, when will they be back from what was it this time 26th or 27th honeymoon?".

Byeol giggled and told him "They should be back in another hour or 2. I am really excited for tomorrow. Going back to the Paradise school to meet our parents. I really missed them. And by the way, why are you so poor in numbers, it's their 25th honeymoon".

Dal got offended and said "What do you mean by I am poor in numbers, I am far better than J appa once was. Anyways, I missed them both too. So, tomorrow's gonna be fun. I am sure Tae and Seokie would also enjoy since our friends would bring their kids too".

They then talked a little more before greeting each other good night and went to bed.

"TAEHYUNG TEACHER....SEOKJIN TEACHER...."

Tae and Jin woke up startled to someone calling them out.

They looked around with wide eyes. They turned towards each other, leaned on and shared a peck on their lips.

Tae mumbled "J". Jin smiled at him, kissed his nose and replied "T". They stared at each other and chuckled.

"Now get up before Kookie barges into the cabin" told Jin and Tae nodded.

Both of them got up from their bed and walked down from the loft.

They opened the main door to greet Kookie who usually lets them know his arrival in the same manner everytime he visits.

But Jin and Tae were pleasantly surprised to see not only Kookie, but the other children too.

They stood there with huge smiles watching the surprised look on their teachers' faces.
They all squealed in joy "Taehyung Teacher...Seokjin Teacher" and hugged them both.

What more made Tae and Jin happy was that all the children visited them with their spouses and kids. They all exchanged smiles, greetings and hugs.

Tae and Jin ushered everyone in.

Once everyone were inside, they saw 6 more figures stand at the end of the dock.

2 kids, 2 males and 2 females- their kids and grandkids.

The kids ran towards their grandparents and hugged them tight calling them " T king and J king, we missed you soooo much".

"We missed you too Taemin and Seokyung" told Tae, their T king to which Jin, their J king nodded in agreement hugging them both back.

Next their kids-in-law greeted them smiling brightly "T appa and J appa".

Then their daughter-in-law cheekily asked them "Did you enjoy your honeymoon?", to which they both blushed. Then she continued "Awww....look at you both blush. How I wish your son was the same romantic as you both are..." and fake sobbed.

Jin exclaimed "Is he not? Well we have start writing another book then". All of them broke into laughter.

Then their son-in-law told them "I am lucky Byeol is a romantic like you both".

Tae and Jin smiled at them both and said "Thank you for taking care of our kids". They smiled in return.

They then walked inside the cabin with their kids in tow.

It was now Tae, Jin, Dal and Byeol outside.
Dal and Byeol's eyes shined with pride and love for their appas. They ran towards them and hugged them tight.

"We missed you both dearly" Dal said and Byeol added "We did. But I still wish you both many more romantic vacations together. I love seeing you both in so much love with each other. Thank you for being our parents J appa and T appa".

"Awww, my sweet Byeol and Dal. We love you both too much" said Jin.

"Now, how did you like our surprise? We contacted everyone to gather here. How are you both feeling about this?" Dal asked excitedly.

"We loved it. What say Jin?" asked Tae. "It was a lovely surprise. I love it. But why so randomly?" asked Jin looking at both his son and daughter. Tae nodded and expectantly looked at them.

Dal and Byeol both smiled at each other and said "You will know. Let's go in, shall we?".

Tae and Jin were confused but still did not push it further.

When they all stepped inside the cabin, the party poppers popped with confetti flying everywhere.

"HAPPY TAEJINCEMBER" shouted everyone.
Jin and Tae were surprised and grinned thanking everyone.

The day was spent with variety of home cooked meals, talks about everything and anything. All the kids playing with each other while the parents were making small talks.

In the evening, Tae and Jin cut a cake that was arranged by the children.

Everyone were happy. It is 25 years now since Tae and Jin were married happily.

As the party went on, Tae and Jin slipped from the crowd and walked outside. They sat on the dock infront of the firepit staring at the night sky.

Tae pointed out at the pole star in the sky and said "Jin look, that star is what brought us together". Jin looked at it, turned towards Tae and shook his head as a no and said "No, I disagree".

Tae pouted and asked "Why?". Jin smiled, took Tae's left hand in his and said "I believe this is the star that brought us together" and kissed Tae's tattoo.

Tae flushed at the action and leaned his head on Jin's shoulder and whispered "True!!".

On the other end of the dock, Kookie, Suga, Joonie, IU, Rose, Jimin, Jisoo and j-hope, Dal and Byeol stood smiling at their 2 teachers from their backside.

j-hope clicked a polaroid picture of their silhouette and showed it to his friends.

They nodded at it and decided to give the 2 love birds their space and walked back in.
