It was Minjun who called Jin. Minjun, a final year graduate student- Jin's boyfriend. Jin after collecting himself, ran back to the classroom and saw the children making a chaos. He yelled at them asking them be silent and to be seated at their respective desks.

He then asked j-hope to follow him. Jin left the school premises with j-hope in a canoe that the school provided. He left in search of the network signal. While j-hope was operating the motor of the canoe, Jin stood up searching for possible network signal holding his mobile phone up in the air.
They were far away from the school, somewhere in the middle of the lake. He found a weak signal at one point and dialled Minjun back. After 2 rings Minjun picked up and spoke "Jin!! Why didn't you pick up my call? Well, I called you to ask why didn't you still not pay my phone bills?" Jin on the other side started "Oh Minjunie, listen I don't get network signals here in this place. Even getting a call is a rarity. And about the phone bills...Hello...??? Hello?? Can you hear me Minjunie??...Hello?" Jin looked back at the mobile phone screen only to realize that the call dropped due to the network signal loss.

j-hope repeatedly asked Jin whether they could return to school for which Jin was constantly answering j-hope with "1 minute" or "2 minutes" while still searching for the signal.

Later j-hope switched the motor off, and Jin turned frowning back at j-hope and asked, "What happened?". "Fuel…" j-hope answered. "We ran out of it?" Jin asked worriedly, to which j-hope coolly answered "Will run out of it". Jin understood that if they moved forward anymore to find the signal, then they would run out of fuel to return back to the school. So, with a heavy heart Jin asked j-hope to turn back to the school.

Once, he reached the school, he rushed to the classroom while j-hope was securing the canoe to the dock. He freaked when he saw the classroom empty. He ran out immediately and called out to j-hope "j-hope, the classroom is empt...". Before he could finish talking, he heard some voices from the backside of the school and moved to the back door. From there he saw the children on a timber raft, huge enough to accommodate more than 5 of those children.
From where he stood, he could see j-hope too who was standing on the dock. He immediately looked at the children and yelled "Hey!! What are y'all doing there? Come back right n..." which was cut off by j-hope yelling at them "Hey!! You all left me alone? Come back and take me along too". Jin glared at j-hope shouting "Shut up j-hope!!" and roared at the children "Return!! Now!!".

The children rowed the raft back to the school. Jin reached out his hand to the children helping them to board back onto the dock all the while scolding them. "What were you all thinking, huh? What were you all doing out there?" he asked them angrily. "We went out to fish, we were hungry" answered IU.

"What if something had happened to y'all in my absence?" asked Jin frustrated with their answer. "Nothing will happen to us. We were born and grown on these very waters" answered Suga with a bored look. Jin asked
"What if something went wrong and one of you fell in the water, huh? Then what? Why are you all being so reckless?" Asked an annoyed Jin. "We can swim!!" huffed Kookie to which Rose who was holding a glass jar filled with water and a small fish in it agreed and exclaimed "Yes!!" and j-hope seconded it with "Yes, we know how to swim!!".
