I don't think my situation could have worked out better. I had a house, a friend, and an amazingly attractive director that I got to spend most of my time around.

Even if I am playing a prostitute for only a scene. Now that just wouldn't do. I needed a bigger part and I knew exactly how to get it. I was walking back to Colette's apartment when I saw mister Deslter walking into an office in the theater.

I checked my hair and smirked following him. His office was more like a private music room. It was dimly lit and held a grand piano in it.

I posed in the door way and waited for him to look up. He peered up from his desk as if seeing me for the first time.

"Oh I'm sorry miss Carton can I help you with something?" He asked.

I swooned. This guy was the full package. He was tall dark and handsome not to mention successful. It had been a long time coming but I'd finally got what I wanted. Now I just had to claim it.

"I just wanted to talk about your play," I smiled walking into the office and closing the door behind me.

"Oh? Well what about it, is there a problem with the script?" He asked.

"Well I just wanted to talk about my part," I leered opening the script on his desk.

"What about it?" He asked seeming actually interested.

"Well you see Mr. Jekyll and Lucy have a brief conversation here. It seems to make an impact on her. Why not follow that through out the whole story," I grinned watching his eyes narrow in thought.

"I'm not sure how that would fit into the script," he added uneasily.

I was tired of talking to him through a desk so I walked around and perched myself on the edge of his desk.

"Well what if her and Jekyll had a thing," I hinted.

"No Jekyll wouldn't do that he is engaged," he said looking up at me.

I placed my hand on the script and leaned closer to his face. "Well you see when a man has an affair," I whispered grabbing his tie. "You don't tell anyone."

"Gustave!" The sharp voice nearly jolted me out of my skin. I hadn't even heard the door open.

"Colette," Gustave answered.

Shocked I turned to see the blue eyed raven haired girl.

She stood in a simple blue gown holding her script in one hand and a cup of tea in the other. She looked at me and their was rage in her eyes.

"Sorry but Selene you need to leave," she said this holding eye contact with Gustave. Everything I had done in my life was for self preservation and something was telling me I needed to leave the room quickly.

I hopped off of the desk and passed by the younger girl in the doorway.
--------------
How dare she. I was pissed beyond pissed how could Gustave just sit there!?

"Colette please it's not as it looked," Gustae pleaded.

"Oh really. Honey I brought you some tea but I found you in here with another woman so..." I threw the tea cup on the hardwood floors.

"Colette please," Gustave begged.

I turned to leave but Gustave jumped up from his desk and shut the door.

"Ow!" He cursed. I turned to see Gustave had stepped on a shard of the tea cup while running to close the door.

"You idiot," I sighed.
