Ugh! It started, September. Which means school, my junior year. I really didn't mind school, only because it's the reason I have any friends. However, everything else annoys me.

But you know what really grinds my gears? People that walk slowly in front of me, for more than 3 seconds!

If you wanted a quick description of me, I'd tell you I'm average. I mean, I'm the the most average person ever.

Average hair, name, house, parents, clothes. Even my life is average. But I could have a worse life. Right?

I rolled over to the other side of the bed and got out my phone to check the time. 6:43 am. I didn't feel like getting out of bed, or moving for that fact. But I promise my self a trip to Starbucks if I got up early. So I slowly rolled out bed and trudged down the stairs.

As always, my mom was up and dressed, singing my altime favourite One Direction song that I got stuck in her cheery little head.

"Good morning Caitlyn"  she said, a bit to perky for this time of day.

"What's so good about it?" that came out way more grumpy than it should have. So my mother chose to ignore me.

"Oh Caitlyn, by the way, you got that song stuck in my head. What is it called?"

"One Thing" as I said this, I felt kind of powerful. I don't know why...

"Are you ready for your first day of school school, sweetie?" my dad said, entering the kitchen.

"No, not at all" I said sounding like a true teenager.

"Well, why not?"

" Because I'm not even dressed yet" I said sarcastically.

My parents both let out dry laughs as I walked out of the kitchen and upstairs.

I knew exactly what I was going to wear to school today. Only when I put it on, I hated it. So i decided to go with my ivory dress, covered by my black crotchet cardigan with brown wedges. I walked into my bathroom and loosely curled my hair. I did a natural make up look, because I don't wear alot of makeup to school. Unlike other girls at school, you could easily mistake them for a piece of cake.

I hopped down stairs, to see that my mother looked very concerned. But my dad looked very amused.

"What's going on?" I asked, I'm really freaking out right now...

"Cole Peters is back on town" As my mother said with concern, my dad was grinning brightly.

My face dropped with annoyance. I really hate Cole Peters. He had bossed me around my entire childhood,  the day he left was a great day. It's been three years since Cole had left town. My mother knew how Cole was basically out to get me and was worried about it. My dad, however, was already planning our wedding.

I grabbed a granola bar and an apple for snack and headed out the door. I unlocked my car and got in.

My day is going to be awful.

I started my car, the clock read 8:31. I didn't have to be at school for another 30 minutes. So i decided to go to Starbucks. As I pulled up, I saw a bright red mustang in the lot. That's my dream car.

I entered Starbucks and stood in line. I always know what I want. The lady called me up to place my order.

"Can I get a Venti Caramel Iced Coffee? Easy on the ice." I asked

"Yes, you sure can! Who is it for?"

"Caitlyn"

"Ok, $4.75 please"

I gave her the money and a smile, then walked over to get my coffee. I pulled out my phone to check the time, 8:49. I had lots of time still, because my high school is just up the road.

"Venti Caramel Iced Coffee, for Caitlyn"

"Thank You!" I said, as any typical white girl would.

I grabbed a straw and turned around to catch a whiff of Calvin Klein colonge. I looked up to see a tall, model worthy teenager and I could literally hear my heart stop.

"Hey, Shorty" a deep voice said, rather cocky

"Cole..."
