Chapter 9

I woke up to the sun shining in my face, that always makes me smile. I searched for my phone in the covers, finding it by my stomach. I checked the time, 10:22 am. I sat up and placed my phone onto my night stand, I stretched my arms up, making baby dinosaur noises and then flopping back down. I looked to my right to see a beautiful, sleeping Cole Peters. I then noticed my morning breath and I can not stand morning breath. I tried to carefully get out of my bed to go brush my teeth. As I was half way out of my bed, I feel one arm wrap around my torso, pulling me back.

"Good morning, Caitlyn. you sneaky little thing." Cole teased, pulling me close to him.

"Cole, I was just going to brush my teeth." I chuckled. "I have morning breath"

"So do I"

He pressed his lips onto mine and I totally forgot about morning breath.

"See morning breath isn't that bad." he smirked

"Can I go brush my teeth now?"

he kissed me one more time.

"Not before we make pancakes!"

He threw me back to my side of the bed and ran downstairs, I just sat there for a few seconds. Smiling to myself, I followed his tracks downstairs.

My phone started ringing in my hand, Jessie's face popping up.

"Hey, good, you're up! Tori and I wanted to know if you wanted to go shopping with us today at around 3." Jessie offered enthusiastically.

"I'm just with Cole right now, we're going to make pancakes but ya I would love to!"

"It's kind of early for Cole to be over at your house... Did he spend the night?"

"Ya, ya he did." I confused.

"You still have your 'V' card right!" I heard Tori shout in the back ground.

"Yes, Tori. I do." I chuckled. I walked into the kitchen to see a pancake making Cole. "I gotta go. See you guys at 3. Jessie, you're picking me up?"

"Yep! See ya, girl. Love ya!"

"Love you too!" I said, right before hanging up. I placed my elbows on the island of my kitchen and scrolled through my Instagram. I could feel Cole looking at me. I looked up to meet his eyes, his face in a suspicious expression.

"Who else are you saying 'I love you' to besides me?" Cole asked, crossing his arms.

"Tori and Jessie." I assured him, crossing my arms across my chest. "Because I have a life besides my boyfriend." I walked around the island, until we were standing inches apart.

"I'm going shopping with them later today. Why don't you call up some of your boys? Like Levi or someone." I said, wrapping my arms around his torso, his arms still crossed.

"Levi is kind of a dick!" he stated bluntly.

"I assumed" I chuckled. "Now lets finish making these pancakes!!"

"We should get Starbucks!" Jessie suggested.

"I've only had it like once and I didn't even like it." Tori complained.

"That's because you got something way too sweet for your liking." I assured her. "I already know what I'm getting."

"Caitlyn, I don't understand how you like that americano" Jessie confused. It's too bitter.

"Says the one who always gets a cotton candy frap." I retorted. "And I get caramel in it so its not that bad."

We walked up to the clerk and placed our orders
