Threat

My life was back to normal and my relationship with Ae was progressing with a satisfied speed. He would drop me to college and Pond would come to pick me up. We would occasionally go for a date when I would have less homework. Ae had converted one of the rooms into a study room for me and have bought most of the books necessary for me. It helped me a lot since I didn't have to spend my time in library and also, it gave me and Ae more time to be together. He would be there with me when I would be studying and I would be sitting next to him when he would be busy with office work.

The weekends were pretty much lively since Pond would plan some trips. We would be playing games and many a times, I would allow Pond to win. He would be happy and tease Ae.

If you are thinking about my school life, then, it was a bit troublesome. Zee wasn't leaving a single opportunity to talk to me. I would meet him almost the whole time and I was getting annoyed. I tried to make him stay away but he was too stubborn.

Thankfully, Atid was always there besides me and helping me all the time. I was a bit concerned since some of the students were gossiping that something was going on between Zee and me but Atid cleared the cloud of misunderstanding. He even warned Zee not to do something that would cause me more trouble. Having Atid beside me was just like having an elder brother. I felt safe and protected.

It was a normal day and I returned back home with Pond. Ae was sitting in the hall going through the files when I entered. I made my way towards him and sat down on the sofa and rested my head on his shoulder. "Are you tired?" he asked and I hummed in response.

"Get fresh, I'll ask Martha to get our tea here." He said. I smiled and then grabbed my bag and then dragged myself towards the bedroom and then towards the bathroom. After taking a shower I felt better and fresh.

I grabbed my books and made my way downstairs to join Ae. Martha had already brought the tea and Ae was waiting for me. I placed the books on the table while making myself comfortable next to Ae. He handed me the cup of tea and then moved to pick up his own. Soon after Pond emerged from his room and made way towards where we were seated.

"You two are making me cry. I feel so fucking single!! Arghhh!!" Pond started to complain. "Pond!! Stop that drama and focus on work." Ae said silencing his brother. I could see Pond's sulking face as he looked at Ae. "Pond, how was your day?" I asked trying to divert the topic. "It was great Pete. I wish my brother could talk that nice to me." Pond replied in mocking tone. "Anyways, how about playing a game? I have a new one and I want to try it." Pond said in excitement. "After homework?" I asked and I could see Pond's face beaming with smile.

After finishing the tea, I sat beside Ae doing my homework while Pond returned to his bedroom. It had been quite a while and Pond came running towards us. The same moment, there were two guards hurrying inside the house. They held guns in hands while they approached us. Ae immediately got up and then looked at Pond.

"What's the matter?" Ae asked, his gaze diverting from guards to Pond. "He is here!" Pond replied. I could see Ae's expression change from soft to hard. He clenched his jaws and then his fingers curled up tightly forming  a fist. It was clear that he was angry and whoever the person is, Ae don't like him a bit.

The next second onward, everything was chaotic. "Hide the treasure!" Ae commanded. Pond hastily collected my books while the two bulky guards rushed towards me grabbing me by my arms and started walking towards my bedroom. I could see Ae fishing out something from underneath the sofa and soon he was out of sight. I could see more guards entering the place as I was taken away.

Pond was following me and soon Martha joined him. They both looked disturbed and worried. I was brought inside the room and the doors were shut and locked. What is happening? Why have they got me here? And where is Ae? Why did they leave him alone?
