Stalker

We reached the college a bit early than usual. "See you at home." I said while grabbing my bag, ready to step out of the car. "Pete...." Ae called making me turn to look at him. He looked fidgeting while he tried to speak and I understood that he was a bit nervous.

"Err.... C-Can I k-kiss you?" he asked. He was asking my permission but he didn't know that his words were making me feel shy. I looked down while I just nodded in response. I felt his hands on my cheeks and it felt warm when he touched. He brought my face up as he leaned forward.

I closed my eyes as he was just inches away from me but then, I should know that he is a gentleman. He kissed my forehead and withdrew back. I opened my eyes to find him sitting back on his seat. "Have a nice day." He said gently caressing my cheek. "You too..." I replied while placing my hand over his. Peak was right, he was trying to hold back thinking that he might be forcing me to do things. I should find a way to let him know that I too feel the same.

"Pond will be picking you up in evening. I'll see you at home." He stated. I whispered a soft 'goodbye' to him and then stepped out of the car. He drove out of the campus and I sighed walking towards the classes.

I was in a great mood after yesterday's date but then someone was ready to ruin my happy day. Just when I was going to enter the building, Zee came rushing towards me. "Hi Pete!!" He greeted. "Hi..." I replied. "Umm... Last night, who was that guy with you?" he inquired. It got me bit annoyed since he was trying to get into my personal matter but I have to deal with this in appropriate manner so as to not to gain lot of attention.

"It's my personal matter what I do after my class so we better not discuss my personal life. If you are not having any important questions than I would like to excuse myself since am getting late for classes." I said and stepped aside making my way towards the classroom.

"Are you trying to avoid me?" he asked making me stop. I took in a sharp breathe composing myself before I answered to him, "My main purpose of coming here is to study so I should focus on it. And I have my class starting soon and I don't want to miss it neither do I want to get late for it." I said and then turned around walking towards the class. This time he didn't say anything and I was glad about it.

I arrived in the class and found Atid already sitting in his place. I walked up to him and gave him a smile while occupying my seat. "I saw you last night." Atid said making me stunned. "Don't look at me like that. You were too busy with that guy to even spare a look to the surrounding." He continued.

"I-I am sorry." I apologized. "Don't be. I am upset that I couldn't see his face." He complained. "Next time I'll let you meet him." I replied. "Ah... I was just teasing you. Why do you look so upset? Did something happen last night? I mean Zee was pissed off when you both walked towards the theater. He even fought with his friends." Atid spoke.

"Actually, I am a bit annoyed. I was walking towards the class when Zee tried to block my way. I don't know what to do." I said rubbing my temple. "Clam down. We'll find a solution for it." Atid spoke patting my shoulder and I hummed in response. I should make sure that he doesn't keep bumping into me more often.

After the classes I excused myself to go to library. I greeted the librarian before proceeding towards the shelves. I walked towards the furthest place after grabbing the book planning of making some notes. Atid thought of going to the nearby café with his friends so I was now alone.

I sat down on the empty desk and placed the bag on the chair besides me. I opened the book and started to go through it thoroughly. I don't know why but since Ae started to help me with studies, I found it rather easy to memorize everything. I was immersed in reading when someone came and sat in front of me. I was least concerned of the person since I was busy with my studies.
