Unloved child

"Yes, you heard it right.... My father was daily wage worker and wasn't able to earn enough to feed us all. My mother used to look after us and work in some neighboring houses trying to earn little money. I was the eldest child in family and I had 4 siblings."

"As we started to grow up, there was shortage of food. My father didn't know what to do to meet the ends. My parents would fight everyday over the same issue. Mother used to complain that father doesn't earn enough and my father was annoyed since he was finding it really hard to get a job. There were times when he would beat my mother and walk out of the house."

"Finally, one day dad came home with lot of food and other necessities. I thought that my father must have got a good job and we would not have to worry anymore. We all were happy, especially my mother. My father went to talk to my mother while we went out to play.

"After a while, my father called me and asked me to get ready. I asked him where he was taking me and he told me that we were going to park. I was all excited thinking that my father is taking me out."

"I got dressed up and soon appeared in front of my father. As we walked out, I saw my siblings busy playing with each other. Me and my father walked down the lane and then headed in the direction of the park. After a while, he entered a garage. I was confused to what he was doing here."

"He told me that he forgot the money at home and will go and get it. I just nodded in response and he handed me to the person sitting on the desk. I didn't know what was happening. Then my father left and didn't return. I asked them to take me back home and they told me that my father sold me to them and there was no family for me now. I tried to run away but they were big and quick. They beat me up and then tied me. I was injected with something and then, I was left unconscious."

"When I woke up, I saw there were many other people around. When I asked them what was happening, they told me that I was brought here for auction. They told me the horrible things that are done to people who are bought in the auction – abuse, slavery, forced sex and lot of illegal activities."

"I was small and was not aware of the things happening in this world. I tried to run away but those bulky people caught me and I was detained inside the room. After two days, they took everyone and I heard people whisper that it was the time that we have to say good bye to each other."

"I was sent to stage where the horrible process of setting my price began. I was scared and full of fear. After a while, someone bought me and soon there was a bulky man covering my eyes and tying up my hands. I was then taken away and shoved into some vehicle."

"The vehicle started moving and after a while came to halt. Then I felt to big arms around me and I tried to push them away and protest. Then I heard a soft voice which asked me to calm down and then assured that I was not going to get hurt. He introduced himself as George and then stated that he will take care of me."

"Then, he removed the blindfold and untied my hands. He guided me inside the house and then a woman came running in my direction. She took me to one of the room and asked me to clean up. When I walked out of the bathroom, she was already present inside the room with food. She made me sit down and fed me all the stuff. I was so hungry that I finished everything soon."

"Then, I looked around the place and found it interesting. It had books, television, video games, big closet, large bed and most importantly, the clothes were of my size. I asked the woman to whom the clothes belonged to and she told me that they were of deceased son of the owner. She asked me to take rest and left the room."

"When I was lying on bed, I saw George walk into the room. I kept my eyes shut and held my breath not knowing what he was going to do. He sat down on the bed and tenderly stroked my hairs. 'You are safe and no one will harm you henceforth.' He said and kissed my forehead. 'Have a good sleep my son.' He said and then got up to leave. He didn't make any noise and walked out of the room.
