Kitchen

I never thought I'd find myself watching Jihyo so closely, but lately, something about his behaviour has been gnawing at me. It started subtly, just little glances here and there, but soon enough, it became a habit. Jihyo would eat, and then I'd catch him sneaking off somewhere, away from prying eyes, to purge whatever he had just consumed. It wasn't always obvious. Sometimes it was a quick trip to the restroom, barely noticeable if you weren't paying attention. But I was. I couldn't shake off the feeling that something was off, that Jihyo was struggling with something deeper than just a dislike for certain foods.

"Im off for work bye princess", he said pecking my cheek.

"Dont forget the food I cooked for you", I said.

"Dont worry I've got it".

I decided to confide in Tzuyu and Justin about the situation to see if they noticed anything of this since they had been his friends for a while.

Cafe

We sat together, the three of us, in our usual spot, a cozy corner of the café. 

"You alright?", tzuyu question.

"It's about jihyo. I see him going to the loo lately a lot".

"Water infection?", Justin asked.

"No he does it every time we finish dinner. It's starting to worry me".

"We can't just ignore this. Thats very bad if he's constantly forcing himself to throw up", Justin said.

"Why would he feel the need to do that?", I asked.

"He is scared of becoming fat".

Me and Justin both looked at Tzuyu. I hadn't considered that possibility before, but it made sense in a heartbreaking way. The pressure to maintain a certain image, especially in his line of work, could be overwhelming.

"But he's already so thin. Perfect the way he is", I said. 

Tzuyu reached out, placing a comforting hand on mine.

"It's not about logic, Sana. It's about how he sees himself. And sometimes, that perception can be distorted".

Her words hit me like a ton of bricks, forcing me to confront the harsh reality of Jihyo's situation. He wasn't just struggling with his eating habits; he was battling against his own self-image, trapped in a relentless cycle of fear and insecurity.
