  Berdly was wandering around the castle on his usual patrol when he spotted Ghaster and Tasque Manager on the balcony overlooking the city. He seemed to be very focused on his book while Tasque watched from a few steps away. Berdly runs over to them to see whats up.

  "Greetings fellow high IQ people, whats popping?"
  "Nothing much...just watching Ghaster do a magic trick!" said Tasque as she allowed Berdly to come closer for a better look," it seemed refined so I wanted to see the results."
   A faint glow catches their attention causing them to look back at Ghaster. The book's pages had lit up and a small orb of magic started to build up. He smiled in shocked excitement,"Oh crap I did it! Alright, I forgot to mention, what will happen next might disorient some people here in the AU. But if all goes well....then we'll have upgrades people! Upgrades!"
  Rouxls teleports in.
"I HAST HEARDETH OF SOME MAGIKAL TOMFOOLERYETH HAPPENING HERE!" He notices the scene," is he makingeth maceth n cheeseth?"
   
  Berdly shrugs," The heck if I know. But it looks cool."

  They watched as the book levitates up while intensifying its glow. Ghaster stood in wonder, totally unaware that he would also float too, which caused him to emit a surprised noise like one of those autotune rappers falling off stage.
  "OkAy, Um ...," he gains his balance in the air somehow," now I just need to hit this button...," he presses the page," here."
