Chapter 16

Jihee's Pov

Me and Moonbin was sitting on the bench while looking at the kids Lovingly. Ji-ah and Dongwoo was playing around the garden with Rocky. Rocky's eyes were covered with a little clothe and the two evil kids were running here and there. Both were giggling and loughing when they saw Rocky struggling to catch them.

Seeing both of them smiling, brought smile on our face too.

Me:"They both looks so cute right?"I asked without looking at him. He hummed.

MB:"And it's all because of you."he said while looking at me. I turned and shook my head.

Me:"No. I didn't do that much. Dongwoo is a very cheerful and nice kid. He just needed someone's love. Specially, his mother's love."I said but started regretting it when I saw his pale face. Oh shit. Why I had to say that? What will I do now?

Me:"U-I-I am s-sorry. I didn't me-meant to sa-say-"he cut me off.

MB:"No,it's okay."he said making me shut up. He turned around and looked at the kids again. I sighed and also stared in-front of me.

There was an awkward silent. What happened to Dongwoo's mom? I really want to know. I mean, I didn't saw any pictures of her in their house too. What happened to them in past? I was thinking about to ask him or not. As if he can read my mind, he spoke.

MB:"I was a very normal and simple guy before unlike now when one day Dad decided that I should marry someone. I didn't said anything cause I had no girlfriend that time nor I loved someone. So I agreed. That's when I saw her. Dongwoo's mother. Jennie."he started saying about his past. I was so shook at first cause he was opening up in-front of me but listened everything quietly.

MB:"I was in love with her as she was my wife. I promised myself not to hurt her ever. And I did. I saw my present and future with her. Her everything was precious to me and I fall in love with her so deeply. After two years, we got to know she was pregnant. I was so happy that I can't even explain in words."he said. I can feel happiness in his words. But why I felt sad when he was saying he was in love with her? Ughh..shrug it off.

MB:"But, she wasn't happy with it. I took a very good care of her. I always woke up early and made breakfast for both of us. I always cleaned our room neatly everyday. I even washed our clothes. I always brought Whatever she wanted to eat and whatever is good for her. I always tried to make her happy. I did everything that a husband would do. I think, I did too much. And that's why she left me. After Dongwoo's birth, one day she went missing. I searched her everywhere but didn't found her. Lastly, I found a paper on my table. I picked up and got to know that, she left. She wrote, she is still young to take care of a kid. She feels so tired taking care of Dongwoo. So, she left. At the end, she also wrote that, she never loved me."he said with a sad voice. I saw water in his eyes which was threatening to fall. I felt so sad for him. I looked up and saw Rocky looking at us with a frowned face. I signaled him something and he nodded. Then he took inside the kids leaving us alone.

MB:"And that's why I changed. I turned into a cold person which I didn't wanted. I started staying away from my own son. I wasn't able to face him after what his mom did. Everytime I faced him, his mother's face would come in my mind. I didn't wanted to get hurt and that's why our relationship became like this. I have no idea what a dad does. I always felt hurt for being like this. I am really a very bad father."with that he started crying. I felt so pity for him. I can imagine what went through his life.

I didn't know what to do, because he started crying so hard. With a lot hesitation I hugged him. To my surprise, he also hugged me. He was crying which aches my heart. I knew from the beginning that something bad happened in his past life which lead him here.

Me:"Shh shh....Don't cry. Who said you are a bad father? You are a perfect father for Dongwoo. Yeah it's right that you were a little cold towards your son but you did everything that you can. And Dongwoo can understand you, don't worry. And don't cry over the person who doesn't even loved you for once."I said to him and pulled away. I cupped his face as he looked at me with his watery eyes.

Me:"As you know that how much Dongwoo wants you, your love, try to give him that. Try to be always by his side. Don't let him live alone for once. He is your present and one and only future Bin. You should concentrate on him. And about Jennie. Forget her. Forget her everything. She doesn't deserve your love nor Dongwoo's. Try to make a new life. Hmm?"I said softly. He didn't answered just stared at me deeply.

I was so confused about his reaction. But what he did next, shook me very much.
