Chapter 4

I woke up and got ready for today with Ji-ah. Today is her sports day so I took a day off from work.

We made our way towards the bus station. After a while the bus came and we went to her school. Many parents were there with their children. So many people can be seen everywhere so I held Ji-ah's hand tightly to prevent her from lost.

We were walking when suddenly someone shouted Ji-ah's name. We turned and saw a cute boy around Ji-ah's age running towards us. His face was a little cat type? Yeah...he is looking like a cute kitty. The boy smiled widely and stopped in-front of us.

??:"Good morning Ji-ah."he greeted.

Ji-ah:"Good morning, Dongwoo. Oh... mommy. This is the boy whom I saved yesterday. "she said to me. I mouthed an 'O'. I smiled and looked at the boy.

Me:"Hello, Dongwoo. I am Ji-ah's mom."I said to him.

Dongwoo:"Hello Aunty. I am Moon Dongwoo."he bowed. Awww...what a good boy.

Ji-ah:"Hey. Where is your mom and dad?"she asked. I looked around but didn't saw his parents but saw a guy who was looking at us blankly. I was feeling uncomfortable but quickly turned my gaze towards a sad Dongwoo? Why is he sad?

Dongwoo:"A-actually...I don't have mother."I widen my eyes. Oh...my Allah. He doesn't have a mother?

Me:"Umm..okay. Then tell your father to come."as soon as I finished I saw him rolling his eyes. I frowned my face in confusion.

Dongwoo:"He won't come."he said.

Ji-ah:"Why?"

Dongwoo:"He doesn't care about me."he sighed.
I smiled and bent down to his level. I placed my hands on his shoulder.

Me:"Who told you that he doesn't care about you? He is your father and every father cares about their child. Don't worry, he will come."I tried to comfort him. Then I stood up and told Ji-ah to come with me because her competition is going to began. We bid Dongwoo goodbye and went to the playground.

Me and Ji-ah played as others did the same. We played but didn't got the first place, we won the 2nd place. But I was happy because my baby is happy. She was smiling widely when we were playing. I wish, you get all the happiness of this world.

I was sitting on a chair beside the playground with Ji-ah. Suddenly we saw Dongwoo coming towards a sit beside us with a pout. He sat on the chair and the guy from earlier was following him.

Ji-ah:"Hey, Dongu."I smiled at her nickname. Dongwoo didn't said anything just pouted. Me and Ji-ah looked at each other confusedly and then again turned towards Dongwoo.

Me:"Dongwoo. What happened? Why are you here? Your competition is about to start."

Dongwoo:"To compete I need a parent, I have nobody."he said. My heart clenched at his statement. I felt the urge to cry.

Me:"Why Dongwoo? Where is your dad?"I looked around and saw the guy again looking at us blankly.

Me:"Umm...Dongwoo. Is he your dad?"I finally asked him. He shook his head.

Dongwoo:"No. He is my bodyguard Rocky. My dad hired him for me."I nodded understandingly.

Me:"Then where is your dad?"I asked him again.

Dongwoo:"He is not here. I told you before he won't come. He never came before."

Me:"Did you told him?"

Dongwoo:"Yes. And he said he is busy and told me that this bodyguard will join with me. But I want to participate this competition with my parents, not with my bodyguard."he whined sadly. What the-how can he do that? Is he even his father or not?

Aishhh...I am feeling so mad. After all, he is a kid.

Ji-ah:"Mommy. What will we do? He is so sad..."she said while pouting also. Aww....this kids. I was thinking how to help Dongwoo when we heard the teacher said to be ready for the next competition. Just then an idea came  in my mind.

Me:"Dongwoo, don't worry. I will join with you, if you want to."I said. He looked at me immediately. His eyes were sparkling. He smiled and said rapidly 'yes'. I chuckled at his cute behaviour.

Me:"Then come. The competition is about to start."I said to him and stood up. When we were going to the playground I thought.

How can someone deny this cute kid? I will deal with his father later.

Rocky's Pov

Who is this woman? Well, she is looking much younger but as I know she has a daughter which is sitting with her. Why little master is talking with her? The way she is smiling with him, it gives a motherly vibe.

Suddenly I saw them going towards the playground. I followed them from behind. Then I saw Little master joined the competition with this woman? Why? Little master never ever joined in competition with anyone. He always wanted to join with his father. Then why with her?

They were looking so beautiful together. Like, our little master finally got a mother.

While looking at them, I smiled widely when I saw our little master smiling with his heart.
