Welcome to December 6th, 2021 Wattpadders!
Hanukkah.
Hanukkah, also known as Festival of Lights, is celebrated in the Jewish community. The Jewish festival begins on Kislev 25th and is celebrated for eight days. Those eight days begin on November 28th and end December 6th this year. Hanukkah reaffirms the ideals of Judaism and commemorates in particular the rededication of the Second Temple of Jerusalem by the lighting of on each day of the festival.
The main difference between Christmas and Hanukkah is that Christmas is a christian festival and falls on the 25th of December, while Hanukkah is a Jewish festival that falls on the 25th Kislev. Kislev is a month which occurs in November–December on the Gregorian calendar and is sometimes known as the month of dreams.
As the last day of Hanukkah, we invite you to participate in a fun game of Unscramble Words! These unscramble words are the words often associated with Hanukkah. Can you figure out what the words are?
