Alex's POV
"Jess wait!" I called as she slammed the door. I stood there hoping she would open it or at least unlock it. "Jess I'm sorry, it was stupid to try that." I said leaning my head against the door. I don't know what came over me. One minute we are just standing there the next we were kissing. I messed up big time. I mean sure I was heartbreaker back in America but I didn' t go after girls who were taken. I think I was just feeling lonely and she was there. "Jess please we both know the kiss didn't mean anything, we can just talk and be friends. I mean I am living here now." I said to her again praying for an answer.
I heard the door creak as I turned my back. "Fine," I heard the small voice say. "let's talk." Opening the door wider to let me through. I sat in the chair as she sat back on the bed. "So.", she said awkwardly before contiuing, "Wanna play 20 questions?" I shrugged then nodded can't be that bad.
"Favorite Color?" she asked, starting of simple.
"Red, yours?" I replied
"Green." She smiled proudly.
"Favorite band?" I asked.
"Beatles, and of course IM5. You?"
"Metallica, and Led Zepplin."
"Favorite candy?"
"Gummy bears!"
"Wax Bottles."
We continued asking questions until it was midnight. "We really need to go to sleep." I sai dlooking at her yawn and lazily blink. "Yeah see you in the morning Alex." She said closing the door behind me as I left. I heard soft steps retreating to her bed. Knowing it was her I quickly walked to my room, hopping in the shower first. I crawled under the comforter, letting the sleep take over my bpdy. Dreaming of home in America.
"Get up, or you'll be late." I heard someone say to me. I groaned this isn't happening, the annoying voice will go away. The girl was still there. "Go away Jess." I said annoyed. "No way, we've got school. I have to take you unless you wanna take the bus." I groaned and removed the covers. She began to walk out of the room and as she did I roomed my shirt and threw it at her. I heard a loud shriek followed by an angry death threat, and chuckled to myself. "Screw you! I'm keeping it!" She yelled from down stairs. I frowned, should've seen it coming. I got dressed in jeans and a t-shirt, pulled on my shoes and was ready to go.
I walked down stairs to see an irritated Jess, crossing her arms leaning against the couch. Her flats matching her black shirt, and floral skirt. She shoved my backpack towards kme while grabbing her own and headed for the door. I jumped in her car, and watched as she started it. We began our way to school. Within 15 minutes we were out front in the parking lot. "Front office is over there." she said pointing to a building, "You can get your schedule there. Meet me hear during lunch and we can go off campus." She said as she walked towards a group of girls who were giggling and laughing. "Well here goes nothing." I assured myself before starting for my first day.
