-In Another Interrogation Room-
_Same Precinct_
Yumi sighed annoyedly as she was greeted by the sight of an angry and whiny looking police officer that reminded her too much of Katsuki Bakugo, but kept herself calm with her trusty anger management rubber bracelets that matched her skin perfectly and fit like a second skin.
"Code Name?" The officer asked.
Yumi answered calmly well aware that Nezu, All Might, and Eraser Head were listening and watching in, "Flame Dancer."
The officer continued calmly with a kind nod of acknowledgement as he typed in the information into his system.
"Real Name?"
Yumi sighed, "Midoriya, Yumi."
"Age?"
"Twenty seven years old as of earlier this year."
"Family?"
"They have nothing to do with who I am nor did they know anything of my villain activity, just to inform you all. But my family are the late Inko Midoriya, and currently my father Hisashi Midoriya, and brothers Izuku Midoriya and Tenko Shimura-Midoriya." Yumi answered.
"Quirk?" The Officer asked.
Yumi yawned tiredly having had little sleep the night before, "Pyrokinesis and Longevity."
"How long have you been a villain?" The officer asked.
As this all happened, Nezu, All Might and EraserHead were listening attentively to the interrogation genuinely curious to know more about the mysterious group of vigilantes that turned themselves in.
"It's been close to sixteen or seventeen years now." Yumi said pensively and only slightly surprised.
"Just out of curiousity, why did you turn to villainy at around... What? Eleven years old?"
Yumi simply smiled bittersweetly, "No hero saved me or my baby brothers. Not once for me and the oldest of my two brothers, and only once for my youngest brother. Why the hell would I want to do anything heroic for the world or anyone in it back then and even now if all the world and it's people did to me was ignore me and my brothers and overall treat us like crap?"
The officer and heroes watching were astounded at the passionate dislike in Yumi's tone as she continued.
"When I was only 11, a villain broke into my home and held me, my youngest brother, and myself hostage to try and get away from that bastard Endeavor. That villain stabbed my mom and then Endeavor desperate to just get his money set our house on fire while trying to stop the villain, killed the villain, and then that false hero denied us help in getting out of the burning house! He doomed us to die and left us there! My mother then got crushed by a beam by protecting us from it and died before my eyes because of that bastard! The villain wouldn't have done anything to my mother or me and my brother if Endeavor would've feigned backing down and then persued him once the villain was out of our house! We would've died too if it hadn't been for Freedom! Freedom saved me and my baby brother from dying AND got us into the care of our father who had just come back to Japan when the fire happened! No one else bothered to help! Only a villain! A villain was more heroic than the NUMBER TWO HERO could have ever hoped to be!"
Everyone was shocked at the passionate declaration as Yumi calmed herself before finishing off her response.
"After seeing a villain being more heroic than a high ranked hero ever was, I realized that not all villains are horrible monsters that most make them out to be. At the end of the day, they're humans who have chosen a path that isn't always morally acceptable to either survive, belong, or to get their payback on those who hurt them when no hero or anyone else would. I only took my place as a villain because I wanted to make society wake up to the fact that nothing is perfect and that this society is fucked up beyond belief. But also I suppose I wanted to be as free as Freedom was. I admire her, honestly. She wasn't just my savior, she was my idol after saving me because she showed me that the world will judge you based on a title, but titles don't matter. Villains can do whatever they want, they can be great in their own ways. So I decided to follow her and trained listlessly until I felt ready and sought her out and I guess she saw something in me and let me join her."
