I saw
The seat next to you
Was empty and unwanted
But never did I get a glimpse
In the rear view
"Of things which were meant to be
But would rather never see"
Then I saw you stand
And run through that door
When you came to a halt
And stared out the window
Said "Lights are always brighter
If seen at the other end"
Must I see
The seat next to you
Is cursed and discarded
But never did I hear again
The echoes
"Of the ones who sat beside you"
-P.S I wrote this one for a person whose friendship is broken now..and how I used to wish they would always be together and happy.
