True Demand

Sitting on the bench
Watching the wound grow deeper
Though knew that
It was merely an illusion

Just like her
Drowning in the same ocean
Or just like before
Lost in the mid way
And all I can see
Is Her and Me
Lost in our own trap
Trying to find the way back

And it all seems stuck now
But no more than a forgotten dream
Once which had been here
And maybe seemed to be REAL

I asked, "What's up?"
The silent wind blew
Urging her answers to vanish
Alongwith the tears, jealousy, anger.
Remaining was the pain
In her humble but bitter eyes
The truth I wished to see
Became a memory I wish to forget.

"Whatever happens,
Will you stay with me?"
And she reminded me-
"Pain demands to be felt."

P.S. I wrote this about 6 years back for a friend of mine. Now it reminds me a lot of things.
