Summary: Christopher wakes up Eddie and Buck for Christmas morning

Day 1: Exhausted Parent Kiss

Eddie stretched himself awake, wondering why he felt so exhausted. It then dawned on him that it was Christmas morning, of course, he was tired, he was busy helping his husband with all of Christopher's presents last night.

But that didn't answer his question of why he was up so early... "Dad, Daddy Buck!" He heard his answer echo throughout the hallway.

He chuckled slightly then turned to the squirming mess of hair and blankets groaning next to him. Evan buried his head further into the pillow at the sound of his name waking him up more.

"Wake up, Buck, it's Christmas," He whispered, "it was Christmas when we went to sleep," The firefighter argued back.

Before Eddie could say anything else he heard the door creak open. "Knock knock," Christopher stumbled in through their room in his festive pj's.

"Merry Christmas dad!" He stopped at the foot of the married couple's bed, "Merry Christmas, bud!" Eddie lifted the boy up onto his lap. "Merry Christmas, Buck!" He pulled the sheets off of Evan to try and wake him up, which made Eddie smirk.

Buck turned his head and fixed his hair, child filter now on. "Merry Christmas, little man!" Christopher smiled at the now awake first responder.

"It's Christmas morning!" Buck took in the fact that he seemed so excited he didn't even put on his glasses yet.

"I know, but we gotta wait till Auntie Maddie Grandpa Bobbie and everyone else comes to open up gifts," He laughed as he helped Chris off the bed, "I'll be patient," his son nodded and Buck reached forwards to scruff up his hair.

"Well be down in a sec, buddy," Eddie pushed himself up further as Chris started his exit. "Our first Christmas together..." He smiled, "Yeah..." Buck turned to him and gave him a sleepy kiss.

Definitely the best Christmas yet.
