Ones Dearest

Mary and I have been dating for about 5 weeks now. I feel like my own person now and I'm not even wearing my mask now. Everything is great, well, almost great. There's just one thing that's really bothered me...and it's Yumeko. She's always all over Mary, but to be fair she doesn't know Mary and I are dating.
At least today is the day we planned to tell Yumeko, not just her- but my sister too.

"Alright so I think after school would be the best time for telling Yumeko, so let's do it then yeah?" "Yeah." I agreed with Mary. When Mary and I met up after school ended Yumeko and Ryota were trailing behind her. Before I could even say a word Mary ran over to me and kissed me on the cheek. Yumeko looked stunned, but I think I was really the one who was stunned. Mary had never kissed me on the cheek before. "WOW. ARE YOU GUYS DATING??" "Yeah duh." Mary said while raising her eyebrow. "CONGRATULATIONS!" "Yeah congrats," Ryota joined in." "How long have you been dating!?" Yumeko was really excited, but Ryota didn't seem to be too into it. "About five weeks now." "You should have told us sooner." Ryota looked at Yumeko and said "you mean YOU should have got told sooner. Mary told me the first week! It took all my courage to not tell you, Yumeko." Mary slapped Ryota on the back playfully. Ryota, Mary, Yumeko, and myself all sat together for a while chatting.
I still don't like Yumeko, but I do hate her less now because she's respectful of our relationship. I haven't seen her all over Mary since telling her that we were dating.
After a few weeks just waiting around Mary and I finally made our way to my house. I was excited, this would be the first time she's came to my house. "Wow! Your house is huge!" "Yeah I know, I think it's TOO big though." We made our way to Kiraris room. We both stopped at the door for a moment and knocked before entering. "Hey kirari...we have something to tell you." "Yeah? What is it?" Mary gave me a reassuring nod before I said anything else. I grabbed her hand. "Well we're dating...surprise?" "Oh. I knew you were dating already." Me and Mary both looked at each other, feeling as if one of us had already told her. "Stop looking at each other. Neither one of you told me, but I AM gay myself, so of course I knew you guys were dating, but congratulations on coming out and your relationship you two."
