On the top/Side i posted a pic of Dylan (Hal's Boyfriend) On th top/side for the video it's sugar by Maroon 5.

Waking up to my mother on me is not a good time, let me tell ya. My mom thought it would be “Fun” to wake me up! It was not and she ended up on the floor.

“Rise and shine, my sunshine! Up and at it, get up!” She said in a perky voice.

I groaned and rolled over on my side, “No….”

She said louder, “Fine. Duke come here boy!”

I heard Dukes loud steps up the stairs and I felt tons of weight on me. I looked up to see my big boy was on me, leaning up I hugged him. I chuckled evilly to myself knowing he sleeps with me most of the time, I was immune. Duke got off and got under my covers curling up, I pet him softly. After hearing my mother go downstairs, I hear my alarm clock go off. To say I got up from bed swiftly was an overstatement; I tripped and fell, on my face of all places.

I quickly regained myself and got up heading towards my bathroom. I looked in the mirror to see my hair was in every which way. I looked like medusa herself, that’s how bad I looked. I brush down my hair the best I could and then I straiten it. After that I put on light tan/pink lipstick and a Smokey eye shadow. I put on some black galaxy nail polish. After making my face descent I go to my closet to find my Maroon 5 t-shirt and blue jeans, also my black hoodie. I am not a fan girl squealing type, I like the music.

I grab my mp3 player and earbuds. I grab my skateboard after feeding Duke. Walking out the door I see a black jeep in my driveway, I walk back in the house.

“Mom, why is there a black jeep in the driveway?” I yell.

I hear thumps from her feet then I see her overly excited. “Honey I got you a car!”

My mouth is probably on the floor, “What?! Really!?”

“No, I’m kidding, of course why would I lie!?” She smiles.

I run out to the car and get in, examining every little detail. Like the gray and black seats and the sweet radio that has an iPod insert for my jams. Also it is a convertible and has an awesome back seat for friends. I get up and run to my mom and hug her tightly.

“Mom, thank you thank you thank you thank you so much!” I scream happily.

She started on her safety driving speech, “Honey I know you’re a good driver but you need to remember your safety, blah blah, blah blah blah. Do you understand?”

I nod and run to the car dunking into the driver’s seat. Putting my iPod in the insert I put on maps from maroon 5. Then I put my seat belt on and my sunglasses hang loosely on my nose. Putting it in reverse I see my mother smiling happily and waving bye. I drive with one hand and the other is one the consol and I pat to the beat of the song. Then I bob my head to the lyrics,

I miss the taste of a sweeter life

 I miss the conversation

I’m searching for a song tonight

I’m changing all of the stations

I like to think that we had it all

We drew a map to a better place

But on that road I took a fall

Oh baby why did you run away?

I was there for you In your darkest times
