The after math of the date- Chapter 10

Authors Note: So sorry guys for the sad chapter, even I the writer got sad. Also as all of you all know (Or you don't and I'm about to tell you) KlasyKittycoolKat the other author I usually relate to in my other book *is/was* writing The Country Summer. Chris' cousin is Oakley from the Country Summer, anyway sometime soon Chris is going to visit Oakley's ranch. (Ginger *Chris' mom* already talked about it.) Btw the pic is going to be yours when you read the last sentence.

Jake and I were walking through a parking lot from a restaurant. He and I were laughing our butts off from a joke he told me.

"Jake, I have to get home soon." I say through laughing.

"Ok, ok come on." He says also through laughs and opens my door.

"Why thank you, kind sir." I say in a prim and proper voice.

"Anything for thy lady, madam Chris." He says in a knight's voice.

I get in the car and buckle my seat belt. Jake soon gets in on the passenger side.

"So, how did you like the date?" Jake asks me.

"It was wonderful, very good food and good company." I say smiling and backing out of the parking spot.

While on the road leading towards his house I ask for directions. He tells me which way to go and stuff. We eventually got to a huge house and my mouth probably was on the floor of my car.

"Jake, are you serious?! This is huge giant mansion!?" I yelled not being mean.

"Yes, please don't freak. This is my house and it is not a mansion." He said smiling and grabbing my hand, and bringing it to his lips.

"Yes it is, look there are like a million rooms in there I bet!" I say back.

"Ok, ok it is like a maze." He said unbuckling his seat belt.

"HA!! Ok I will see you tomorrow. Wait no, tomorrow is Saturday! My mom wants her and I to 'bond' it usually ends with her walking off." I say.

"Ok, I will see you Sunday. Then I will give you your proper send off to your cousins." He says stepping out of the car.

"Ok, see you Sunday." I say leaning towards him and pecking his lips.

"Okie bai." He says closing the door and walking towards the mansion his hands deep in his pockets.

I back up out of his drive and make my way home. About 15 minutes later I am pulling in my driveway. Quietly I make my way in the house then I look around the darkness and no seems to be there, good. Then a light turns on and my mother turns around from her chair.

"AHH! Mom... why do I feel like you are going to murder me?" I say rubbing my eyes.

"Because it is... 10:34 p.m, 10:34 P.M! You should not be out... partying with.. strange men at... 10:34!" She says making up her argument bit by bit.

"Mom I love you, I really do but you do not trust me. I wasn't out partying I was on a date also I got in a fight at school."

"You did what? Chris we can't go back to what happened after your father died. Can you please tell me what happened?"

"Ok, well Jake and i-" I started but my mother cut me off.

"Jake who?" She says obviously steamed.

"Jake Hayes, my boyfriend." I say sitting down.

"Ok, continue."

"Jake and I were walking the halls when Brittney Hearts, the schools diva popular kid. She likes Jake because she hates me, she wants me to suffer watching her steal all my boyfriends. She ripped me away from him and punched me in the nose hence making my nose bleed. Then Jake sort of sent her to the nurse office, she has her nose broken and her eye is swollen."

My mother gasped and said, "Poor baby having a broken nose and stuff."

I growled and got up and said to my mother, "Oh yes, having a broken nose and swollen eyes is the worst that could happen to her!"

I speed walked to my room and went on my computer. I messaged Jake saying;

Christheterminator:

Jake, I am so angry right now I could kill someone.

I waited a few seconds and a ping from my computer told me he replied.

JakeHayesB]:

What happened babe?

I typed back.

Christheterminator:

My mother feels sorry for Brittney because you broke her nose!

Feeling pissed I gripped my seat to the chair so hard it actually started to rip. Then I heard another ping.

JakeHayesB]:

Did you tell her about how she made your nose bleed? L

I typed back feeling a bit better.

Christheterminator:

Yes! It's Brittney this and Brittney that! I just want to either cry or kill my mother or Brittney.

Waiting I got up and grabbed my art equipment.

JakeHayesB]:

Ok, well I love you <3 and I have to go. ^-'

I got up and started to draw furiously. Starting with the soft outline I add more soft details. Then I add the hard lines and the shading. After about 30 minutes of drawing I fall asleep with a drawing of a shirtless Jake with the entire galaxy behind him and in his eyes. I made his feet seem to blend with the stars and I made his hands strong and firm. Then I made his muscles seem to never lose their firm yet soft look.

Waking up was a mistake. My mother was above me with a piece of paper in her hands.

"Mom, what in the world is that?" I say rubbing my eyes.

"A letter... from the Hearts. Brittney is pregnant, with Jakes baby."
