I finshed getting changed into my kit, put my shin pads on and boots standing up and running my hand down my kit to get any bumps of lumps out of my kit!

I went to stand in the tunnel behind mason and Kai! I felt a little nudge and turned around to see aspi holding the captains badge!

'Hey del, you ok just wanna give you this for today, as me and frank are looking for a potential vice captain' he handed me the white rubber band it's always been a dream to where the captain badge

He slide the band onto my arm and told me to stand in front of kepa, he gave me a quick pat on the back as I walked to the front!

'Oi oi what u doing here' kepa laughed as I turned around to see his face

'Being your captain for today' I laughed as I tightened my hair

I took a couple of deep breathe and walked up the stairs Behind the ref, the 2 lines men walking side by side

I heard liquidator play in the empty Stanford bridge, I look around to see frank gave me a thumps up!

I stood side by side and waited for the players to approach me, as covid was a thing we had to do that elbow thing, then the team running off to get in their position!

I patted his back as he groaned in annoyance, the game carried on the same as it was, I quickly intersecting a pass and dodged the backs and took on the shot and had scored!

I ran off and hugged me team mates Near the flag, the ball got sent back to the circle and started all over again, mason was outside the box and I called for the ball and I passed it to Kai who scored!

We all ran over to his and I patted his back before walking off, Barnsley's started to loss their confidence and their players became very sloppy!

The whistle blew and we all headed into the changing room, I grabbed my drink and sat down while frank was giving us a pep talk

'Anything to add cap' frank asked me

'Um.. not really just to make sure where always their up in their space and not afraid to take shots'

'Do as the captain says, don't be afraid to take shots you never know it might just go in' frank said shooing us to get back the pitch.

Quickly getting out of the changing room and heading back onto the pitch, where we all stood waiting for the whistle to determined the second half!

The second Barnsley touched the ball their we where up in their space, Kai tacking the player and me getting the ball and running to the goal and shooting the ball hit the back of the net.

And mason jumped onto my back hugging me, that's when the game really changed, we where getting more shots and every time it was getting closer to the back of the net, Kai netting the forth goal,and the 5th goal!

I was taken off and to replace me was Oliver Giroud, before coming off giving the band to aspi and the running of the pitch and going to sit down!

Giroud netting the lass goal before the whistle had blew for full time, Slapped kepa round the back of his neck causing him to jump!

'Oi you little shit that hurt' he laughed nudging me as we walked into the changing room, and having a shower, I changed into my normal clothes and headed to my locker to get my stuff!

Kepa came out on his phone as per usual, to be fare he didn't look happy in himself!

'Oi kep u ok' I asked jumping onto his back

'Not really but it's fine, I'm used to it'

'Bitch face broke up with me' he sighed

I opened up my arms for him to come into, I felt like I kinda was the problem but I didn't want to say anything!

'Well my door is always open atm' I hugged him and walked to my car
