Five years later
Amber's POV
The cold but gentle breeze of the wind blew as I got up from the ground. Letting out a soft sigh, I look at the grave in front of me with a soft smile.
Amber: I miss you. Thank you, for always being there when I needed you. For being there to make me laugh, smile and for loving me. I love you. Bye.
With a heavy heart, I walk away from the grave, trying to not break down. I walked out of the gate to see a car in front of me, and one particular guy leaning on it while playing with his phone. Once he noticed my presence, he walked towards me with a small smile.
?: you okay?
Amber: yeah.... I'm fine.
I let the warm tears flow down my face as he wrapped his arms around me.
Amber: I miss her Jay... I miss Arin unnie so much....
What happened to Arin? She... she got into an accident. And well...
Flashback four years ago
Amber: unnie please! Please stay strong!! You can't leave us like this....
Arin: I'm sorry... take care of Hyeri for me.
Heeseung: please don't say that baby! You're not leaving!
Arin: Hee... I don't have much time left.... take care of our daughter for me... don't stay without having someone by your side. Move on from me and find a new one for yourself.
Heeseung: b-but...
Arin: please Hee... it's my last wish. Let our daughter grow up with a mother by her side. Even if it's not me... thank you... both of you... I love you so much... good bye....
Heeseung/Amber: NO!!!
And the heart monitor stopped. I hugged Heeseung and we both cried our hearts out. The doctors and nurses in the room looking at us sadly. And our friends in the corner silently crying.
Heeseung: *sniffs* I'll do my best to fulfill your last request... I promise I won't let you down...
End of Flashbacks
And yeah... Heeseung's doing fine. He still misses her. But he found someone else for himself. Someone who I feel like will make a good mother for my niece
Jay: shh.... I know. But you promised her on her funeral that you won't cry. Do you think she would like it if you're crying?
Amber: *sniff* n-no....
Jay: then stop crying hmm? *wipes Amber's tears away* you're a strong girl. And I know you're even stronger when it comes to your family right?
