I ran over to Severus and fell to my knees next to him. His eyes were closed and his face was covered in blood. I cupped his cheeks with my hands. "Severus!" I exclaimed. "Severus please wake up."

He didn't move.

Tears filled my eyes as I shook his shoulders. "Severus!" I yelled. "Severus please!" I pleaded.

Tears fell from my eyes. "You can't leave me. I need you."

I realized how true those words were. Severus means so much to me and I refuse to lose him.

I ripped his shirt in two. He had so many large cuts going across his body.

I pulled out my wand and pointed it at one of the gashes on his chest. "Vulnera Sanentur"

His skin started to knit back together.

I continued to heal his wounds and he started to breathe shallowly.

Once I was done healing him I placed my hand on his chest. I could feel his heartbeat. His precious heartbeat. Tears silently fell from my eyes.

"Severus?"

He didn't stir.

I placed my hand on his cheek. "Severus please wake up."

After a moment his eyes opened and he slowly got up onto his elbows. "Y/N?"

I threw myself around his neck and began crying even harder.

He wrapped one arm around me. "Y/N."

I pulled away from him. "I thought I lost you." I whispered.

He reached up and placed his palm on my cheek. "You will never lose me. I promise."

He sat up the rest of the way.

"What happened?" I asked.

"I- I heard the front door open and I thought it was you but it wasn't. A hooded figure came in here and attacked me. I wasn't able to defend myself because I just thought it was you so I didn't grab my wand."

"Why would someone just attack you like that?"

He shook his head. "I have no idea."

"But you have no idea who it was?"

"No."

"Fuck. This is bad."

"Yeah."

We sat there silently for a few moments.

"Severus?"

"Yeah?"

I looked at him. "I really thought I was going to lose you." I said quietly.

"I know."

"I don't want to lose you."

"I don't want to lose you either."

Neither one of us said anything. I stood up and offered him my hand. He took it. When he stood up we were standing so close together.

I can't not have Severus in my life. I need him.

I quickly went up on my tippy toes and pressed my lips to his. I wrapped my arms around his neck.

He was shocked at first but quickly melted into the kiss. He placed his hands on my waist to pull me closer but we were as close as we could get. He kissed me hungrily, as if he had been waiting years for this.

His hands slid slightly lower.

"Severus." I murmured onto his lips.

He pulled back and looked down at me. "What?"

"I want you." I whispered.

He hesitated for a second then pressed his lips to mine. I ran my hands through his hair. His hands cupped my ass.

I jumped up and wrapped my legs around his waist.

Severus started to walk upstairs without breaking the kiss.

We entered into his room and he laid me gently down on his bed.

I got up on my knees and grabbed the hem of his shirt. I tugged it up. He grabbed it and pulled it off the rest of the way.

What did I tell you, you insolent child? Don't let him affect you! Said the angry female voice in my head.

"Severus?" I gasped as I pulled away from him.

"What?" He asked worriedly

"We can't do this." I said quickly.

Good. Push him away. Said the voice again.

I covered my ears. "SHUT UP!" I yelled.

Severus grabbed my wrists and pried my hands off my ears. "Y/N!" His eyes were wide. His hands intertwined with mine. "Y/N what's happening?"

"I am going crazy."

"No you're not. What happened?"

"The voice. The voice is back."

"What did it say?" He asked calmly.

"She.. She got mad at me that we were going to...." I trailed off knowing that he knew what I was going to say.

"That voice doesn't seem to like me." He said.

"What if.. What if the voice is who broke in and hurt you?"

"Maybe. But why do they hate me so much?"

"I have no idea." I looked down. "I am so sorry, Severus. This is all my fault."

"No it isn't."

I looked at him. "Then whose fault is it?"

"I don't know but I know for a fact that it's not yours."

I didn't say anything.

"We will find out who it is and make them stop. We will get through this."

"We?"

"Yes, we. I will be by your side the whole time." He squeezed my hands.

I just stared blankly at him. "I should get to bed."

He nodded.

I got off the bed. I made my way over to the door but stopped and turned back around. "I am glad you are ok." I said quietly then left the room. 

Megan: Guys I am so sorry these chapters are so short :( I am trying my best to make them longer but I feel like I am off my writing game😥 I didn't write for a few months so I feel really rusty. I hope you all are enjoying it though!
