I woke up to Severus's arms around me, his naked body warm against mine.

I am tired of pushing Severus away, telling him I don't love him, not touching him. I am an idiot when it comes to him and I hate myself for it. But now that I have him back I am never letting him go.

Severus stirred. I sat up and looked down at him. He opened his eyes and smiled at me. "Good morning. Did you sleep okay?"

"Yes. Did you?"

He propped himself up on his elbows. "I slept more than okay."

I smiled at him. "That's good."

He sat up and brushed my hair behind my ear then rested his palm on my cheek. "I missed you Y/N."

"I know and I am sorry."

He leaned forward and kissed my forehead. "I love you."

"I love you too."

He leaned back and looked at me. "We should probably get dressed."

I nodded. We got out of bed and picked our clothes up off the floor. "I will see you in a little bit." I went up on my tiptoes and pressed a kiss to his lips.

I left his room and headed to my own.

Once I showered I got dressed. I put on a pair of ripped jeans. I found a sweatshirt of Severus's in the back of my wardrobe. It was dark green with a faded white s on it. I put the sweatshirt on. I left my room and went into Severus's room only to find he wasn't in there.

I went downstairs and found him standing at the front door staring at a piece of paper in his hands.

"Sev?"

He slowly looked over at me. His expression was too hard for me to read.

I walked closer to him. "What's wrong?"

He held the paper out to me and looked away. I took it. It was a letter.... Addressed to me.

Dear Y/N,

Hello dear. If you would like to find out who is talking to you mind to mind then meet me at the church near your old home in three days.

I looked up at Severus. He wasn't looking at me. "What are you going to do?" Asked Severus.

"Well I am going to go and meet whoever this is and possibly kill them."

"What if it's a trap?" He asked.

"Even if that's the case they are going to have a hard time doing anything to me."

"I don't think you should go." Said Severus.

"Well I am going. I need to know who this is." I waved the letter at him. His lips were set in a fine line. "What?" I asked.

"I just got you back and now you are going to put yourself in danger that's what."

I was silent for a short moment. "We need to talk."

"Okay." He said.

"Even if we are back together that doesn't change the fact that I am the dark lord. It doesn't change the fact that I am the most wanted witch on the planet. It doesn't change the fact that I have a target on my back and I always will. You need to understand that Severus. No matter how much you don't want it to be true."

His shoulders slumped and he looked away. "I know."

I placed a hand on his shoulder and he looked at me. "Then you need to stop trying to protect me."
