Suspicious Genius

to say the team was suspicious of their genius lately would be an understatement, they would claim that they're just curious but it's obviously more than that at this point, when he's on the call with this person it's like these two have a very strong connection when he's just laughing freely in front of them and when asked about it he just waves them of starting a whole different conversation

this weekend, fury wanted them to meet someone, he or probably she could be a new addition to their family and everyone has been wondering who it could be

"do you think it's someone like thor?" he asked the closest person to him which was sam "clint. (deep breath) for the LAST....time....i.dont.know!"

clint continued to pout and sulk while sam just rolled his eyes for probably the hundredth time this morning

the rest just chuckled at their archer "don't be so hard on him sam"

he just looked up at steve like he's grown a second head "hard? Hard?! he's been doing this since I woke up!"

tony just smacked himself in the face "YOU! don't get to say shit at this point" tony just silently smirked "didn't say anything" he murmured, loud enough for everyone to hear. sam just huffed, continuing to read his book as a distraction against clint

"so, who do you think it is?" nat asked steve this time "I really don't know, I wouldn't even be surprised if they were from space at this point" nat just nodded in agreement 

"come on cap, at least I hope their not dumb like these idiots or birdbrain over there, I'm totally fine with it" we said as he walked to grab a glass of orange juice but stopped when he got that unknown phone call again

he walked out, leaving the team suspicious...again.

"who is he even talking to?!" clint asked throwing his hands in the air

"do you think Friday will answer your curiosity?" thor chimed in from the corner out of the blue

"I mean we could try...." rhodey dragged out as he got up from the kitchen to walk to the team "hey Friday?"

"yes? Mr. Rhodes?" "who is tony talking to?"

everyone silently listened, wanting to know the person but a few seconds later Fridays voice rang through the room

"I'm afraid that information is classified" 

they all sighed in defeat, again.

"that's it, I give up" Bruce said as he got up and left, walking out of the room. everyone doing the same

the week passed by fairly quick, they were all seated in the meeting room at the tower waiting for fury and supposedly new addition to the team

"where the fuck!....is furyy~" everyone really wished they were deaf or something right about now

"god! for the last time clint, shut up!" tony yelled throwing a bottle of water from the table at him, but clint just dodged it sticking his tongue out in the process

"god their both kids" nat said from her seat, steve just nodded along staring at the scene in front of them "they are, but I don't think I'd ever want this to change" he sighed, but a smile played on his lips

"me neither" nat smiled as well at the scene in front of them, all the while tony still glaring at clint

just then fury got into the room "Im guessing you all already know what this meeting is about?" everyone nodded while tony being tony...could keep the air as silent as it is "yes we do pirate, now get on with it" he said while kicking his legs onto the table
