before we start let's take a second to admire the cover because i spent over three hours on it
prologue.Leia walked through the market as if through a dream. the sun that day was a brilliant lantern, casting the everyday hues of the marketplace into vivid glows. spicy cinnamon and rich coffee rode the air as she ran her fingers down silken tassels and through powdery barrels of blood-red saffron. The crowd has a life of its own, the vibrant clothes shine in the morning light and the people move like enchanting shoals of fish. The deafening chaos in the market made ears split as if you were standing under a giant speaker. Vendors yelled prices at the top of their lungs in an attempt to draw attention to their kiosk and frustrated housewives angrily haggled with the annoyed shopkeepers. Seldom had people noticed this market's true beauty and enchantment. Older than the people in it, this market and lived like this every day. With long-forgotten secrets lying deeply buried in its roots and vast knowledge in its stem, it kept on living.
A clammy hand interlocks with Leia's. Caught up in her thoughts and the crowd, the true intentions of their visit had almost slipped from her mind. madison trailed behind Leia with uncertain almost drunken like steps. the glassy stare that washes upon their topaz eyes as their free hand loosens the collar of their shirt doesn't go noticed by Leia. maybe splitting up wasn't a good idea after all.
"Are you feeling alright?" Leia inquires, her voice a few pitches higher than usual.
madisons voice returns as a whisper, but the two are positioned so close in the bustling crowd that Leia can feel the heat of their voice on the nape of her neck. "I'm fine, really." the edges of their lips curl upwards slightly in an attempt to assure their companion.
Each person in the crowd moves as if unseeing hands drag them this way and that, pulling their eyes to one thing and then another. They respond in predictable ways, each of them with a goal to achieve for the day. Leia had her own goal in mind as she navigated her way through the bustling crowd as a fluttering feeling blossomed in her chest to find the rest of her entourage.

"doscientos dolares ultima oferta lo tomas, o lo dejas" interrupted a voice in a tone so sharp it was enough to sever her thoughts. the vendor paced the floors of his tiny stall with his arms folded across his chest.
