Chapter 14:Clarity

~Ty's P.O.V~
"Sky..why are they trying to kill us?" I looked over to Sky and noticed that he was nervous.
He bit his lip then took a deep breath in.
"Ty, remember when we ran away? It's also the reason why Mitch and Jerome were hunted down." I nodded and listened eagerly to him.
"Ty, my dad suspected that you were some kind of...Ender hybrid kind of thing"

Boom!! Crash

My whole world felt like it has been torn down..he..he knows. but..How?
My eyes widened and so is Mitch's and Jerome's
"Go on" Jerome pushed
"My father wanted you dead, Ty..and i can't let that happen..and i don't believe that you are really some kind of hybrid..i know you"

Bang!!

Just like a bullet through the heart..i really feel guilty about this, i should have told him sooner..but because of my stupidity, this happened.

"Are you?" I didn't realize that Sky pointed that question at me.
I hung my head low and didn't say a word. Silence embraced us until Mitch decided to kil it.

"Okay..so i guess we have our answers now, biggums" i tilted my head a bit and saw Mitch put an arm around Jerome..wait.are they?-
"Sorry you got dragged into this, guys" Sky apologized
No..i'm sorry..this is all my fault.
I felt angry tears well up in my eyes
"Meh..as long as we get free food and shelter here..it's alright" Jerome said jokingly while Mitch nudged him plyfully.
Sky smiled and said
"Of course, you're my best friends, right? So you are welcome here"

~Sky's P.O.V~ (time skip to night time while Pinkie breaks the fourth wall)

Mitch and Jerome really creeped me out today, I mean, come on! Dad told me that my best friends were dead.. I just..how could he lie to me like that?

I sigh and sat back on the couch and started to stare at the ceiling, Mitch and Jerome are in the guest room getting their rest. I wouldn't want them to be hurt again, their already exhausted.

"Babe?" A soft voice rang in my ear..i know that voice anywhere.
I cocked my head to the side and saw Ty.
He sat down beside me and hung his head low.
"Babe? You okay?" I asked but he only shook his head indicating that he is not
"Care to tell me why?"
He hesitated for a while, and i can feel that he was feeling uneasy.
"S-Sky?" Ty whispered, glancing at me. "Yes, babe?" I asked, taking his hand in mine
"Sky, will you still love me, whatever it takes?" I got shocked at his question, of course i will always love him.
"Ty, what kind of question is that? Of course! Ty, i didn't chose you" i paused for a bit and brought his hand to where my heart is "my heart did" he smiled sadly and embraced me, i returned the hug gratefully. I pulled away and pressed my forehead against his
"Babe, tell me what's on your mind" i swear i could see visible tears forming in his eyes

What? Wait..so dad was..telling the truth?

This can't be, but, why doesn't he have those wings and stuff? Questions began to flood in my head, but somehow..my love for him never changed..i just love him too much to be mad at him..
