chapter 24: My heart is broken

~Sky's P.O.V~ ~three weeks later~
Ty has improved so much of his skills in hunting. I can't deny he's a fast learner and that just made my job easier. But somehow, Ty seemed so distant from me. He's been talking to Seto a lot and he seemed distracted everytime i talk to him. I won't suspect that there might be somethkng between them because i trust Ty, but it just hurts to see him so distant from me, i don't even know when to talk to him anymore. Something is bothering me, i know that it's jelousy, i won't deny it. But do you think Ty knows?

~Ty's P.O.V~
"Seto, have you found anything yet?" I asked pacing back and forth inside Seto's room. It's been three weeks already, two more weeks then i'll be a goner. I don't want that to happen, it just can't!! "Calm down, Ty. I'm pretty sure if i just keep on sending more of my books here from my hometown, i'll find a spell to keep you alive and well" Seto said, his eyes glued to his books as his fingers kept on turning the pages.i don't know why i'm so nervous, i just don't want to leave Sky that's all. "It's not fair Seto. Why does this have to happen? I mean, am i better off dead? By then Sky won't have anyone to worry about."Seto shut his book closed then walked over to me, his hands on my shoulders "Ty..even if it kills me i will do everything in my will to keep you alive" Seto looked down then muttered something. "I won't let you die like-" he paused for a bit then sat on his couch "die like who?" I sat beside him then placed a hand on his shoulder "Ty.. my ex boyfriend died because i couldn't find the right spell to keep him alive, so ever since that day, i studied about spells to delay your death for a little while. And when i saw you dying, the memory of my ex lying on the ground lifeless flashed before my eyes...so i had to save you" i was wide-eyed at what he said. Seto had a rough past..maybe i mis-judged him? "Seto i'm so sorry about that" tears were now visible in Seto's eyes. Just then he dove right in my chest crying his eyes out. I rubbed circles on his back to soothe him. But in the middle of it all a "clank" was heard just outside Seto's window. i didn't mind the noise though, i just want to comfort him..don't get me wrong I love Seto but as a buddy and as my savior.
After a few minutes, Seto fell asleep so i had to put him to bed them leave his room. I wanted to see Sky now. It's been a little while since i had a normal day with him. I was so busy about keeping myslef alive than care about him. But when i got to his room... he was on the bed, his face covered in tears and his expression...Hatred and Anger.
"Sky?" I asked looking at him..he glared at me then screamed at my face
"You cheated on me you liar!!"
