Going Throuhg Life (Sad/Abused Todoroki angst)

Chapter 6 - She was acting on her own free will.

A/n important! So todorokis mom is not in a mental hospital in this story but shes not with her family either, u will find what happened to her in this chapter.

Todoroki's pov
'Don't be him, not now.'
I heard another knock and then a small whisper,
"Shoto? Can i come in?"

'Pew, it's just Fuyumi.'
I thought with a relife while walking to the door and opening it.
"Hey sis, what's going on?" i ask moving to the side as she walks in.

"I saw you didn't eat dinner yet and just wanted to check on you."
She looked at my face and made a concerned face seeing the brushie.
"Dad did this, didn't he?"

"Yea... Can we not talk about it right now?" i didn't mean to be rude, she was just worried but i just wasn't in the mood to talk about anything really. Hope she won't get mad.

"Mhm, of course. Now let's go downstairs. I'll get you an icepack and some food." she replied. Of course she didn't get mad, she never do. I don't exactly get why thought.

"You should eat a dinner too."
"Yea your're right, we will eat together then." she said giving me a bright smile as we crossed the kithen doors.
'I love your smiles sis' i thought.

No ones pov
Fuyumi opened the frezzer and handed an ice pack to her brother.
"Here, path this with a cloth and hold to your check. It will make the brush feel better." she said while starting to prepare food for both of them.
At this point in the home live, talking about stuff like this was casual to them. Having medical suplies everywhere was normal too.

Minwhile Shoto made his way to the table and sat on a chair, watching his sister.

"So Shoto, how was school today?" Fuyumi asked her younger brother, still making the meal.
"Oh it was okey, nothing really happened, u know just usual classes. How about your day?" Shoto lied and asked another question, he didn't want to continue on this topic.

"Nothing special happened to me either, but i got call from Natsu. He's doing graet in collage and got a part time job. He said that you should call him if you want to cause he won't visit for a while." She finished as she served the food into two plates and sat, giving Shoto one of the plates. He just gave a nod.

" Hey... Father won't eat with us, right?" he asked. His voice hasn't change a bit from eariel, it still was monotate and emotionless. But Fuyumi knew that inside of him, the feeling of anxiety was forming.
"Nope, he left right after i got home and he wont' be back soon i think. Anyway how's your face? " as she said that the younger gave a little sigh in relive, it was barely noticeable thought.
"It feels better now, thank you."

The countinued the meal in silence, but not the akward one. No, it was a comfort one, the one they both need so much but rarely got it.

Then, Fuyumi broke the silence.
"I almost forgot, i have to go to the cementary, i was wondering if you wanted to.... come with me?"

Todoroki's pov
"You are going to visit mom...?" that cought me off guard.
"Ye, it was a while since my last visit there after all. Wanna... go with me, maybe?" she asked me once again but my answer to this question was so far always the same.

"I think i will pass."

"That's okey. I'll get going now, could you clean up the dishes?" she replied and i gave just a nod as an answer to the question.
"Thank you, oh and i won't be back till noon probably but please don't stay up too late." once again i gave a nod and she smiled walking out of kithen.

"Bye then" and with that my sister was gone.
"Bye..."

I got started going the dishes. But my thoughts were somewhere else.
I thought about mom. It was a long while since i last thought about her. I don't know why but because of this small talk my of her memories pooped in my head out from nowhere, but really clearly. Before i relised it, i got lost in the train of thoughts.

FLASHBACK

No ones pov
"Shoto! Shoto honey, come here!"
"Commin' mom."

"There you are." Rei said and hugged little boy. He immiedietly hugged back, happy to be with his mommy.
"Get your shoes on Shoto. We're going for a ride, okey?"
"Mhm!" and with that the boy got fully dressed and they both exited the house. They got into the car and drived off.

After couple of minutes Shoto asked his mom.
"Where are we going mommy?"
"It's a surprise, be patient honey." that was all she said.

The ride was going smooth and peacefully. But then at few seconds, every peace they had had vanished.
"I am sorry Shoto.."

*BANG*

These were last words that escape Rei's mouth before their car, with a large impact, crushed onto a big and masive tree.
From the perspective of the future, these words Reis last words at all.
Not even a minute after, the whole thing was on fire. It spreader with an unbareable speed. Among the chaos out there you could hear a single, painted cry of a child.

Then everything happened quickly. Police and paramedics came and rescued the kid.
With several burns and brushies he was transported to the hospital and his father got called.

The press got intreasted with that case but they were cut off by police. The case was marked as top secret. The reason of this was supposted to be a good of the victum and their family.
Shortly after, with no more informations the whole thing died down and people forgot.

END OF FLASHBACK

Todoroki's pov
With all of the thinking i was soon finished with cleaning and decided to head back to my room. I got there, set up my futon and layed down. I didn't know thinking could be so exasting.

'To think of it, i was only 5 back then, how can remember everything so clearly. Guess i'm just weird, huh.'

I turned on the other side, slowely getting to sleep. But the train of my thoughts was still going.
I remembered these few week i've spent in the hospital. And how doctors said i was lucky to survive with practicly no complications.
I was also taken to the police stacion that time, they asked me question and said not to talk about what happened with anyone exept my family.

But soon enough father made it clear that he don't want me to talk about this at all.

Back then policemen convinced me that the whole thing was an accident. And i belived them.
But my stupidy didn't least long. After years of growing up and anylasing the situacion over and over, i relised the truth.

That car crush was not an accident. My mother was acting on her own free will full understanding what she was doing.

She did that in intencion to end our lives.
To end both of us.

I was slowely falling asleep, last thing i remember was a single tear escaping my eye as everything went black.

A/n hi there. I changed the contept of Shotos and Reis backstory but its a fanfic after all. The accident also cused todoroki the scar but u gonna read more about it in next chapter i think, well bye bye now.
