Chapter 12 - A Little Investigation

Chapter 12
On the previous week (the same day when Midoriya talked with Aizawa)

Aizawa's pov
'I need to start a little investigation.'
After my talk with Midoriya i was sure something was wrong with Todoroki. I thought i could be connected to both his school and home live.

First I found out what middle school he attended to. Then I got in contact with them.

"Hello. This is the principal's of Fuyato Academy office. How may i help you?"

"My name is Aizawa Shota, I am a teacher from The UA High School. I would like to ask about yours school student who gratuated last year, Todoroki Shoto."

"Oh, I remember him but unfortunately I can't expose any informations about our students outside the school."

"It is a important case. Could i meet with you or the principal in person to get these informations?"

"Very well. I need your teacher's id number and you may meet with the principal tomorrow at 4.30 p.m. Will that work for you, sir?"

"That would be perfect . Thank you very much. Good afternoon."
With that the call ended.

Next day came and passed quicker than I expected. I took the day off, that school is pretty far from my place. Eventually I arrived and went directly to meet with the principal.

I knocked the door, waiting for a response.
" Come in." I heard and walked in closing the door behind.

I front of me sat an old man, with a grumphy expression. As he saw me he stood up and walked up.
"You must be Aizawa Shota, a UA teacher? Pleasure to meet." he held out his hand for a shake. I took it saying.
"Yes, that's me. And The pleasure is all mine."
After that we took a seat on the couches. I looked around the office. The room was big and old styled just like the whole building.

"So Mr. Aizawa, you wanted to talk about our exstudent who now attends UA." He started.
"Yes, Todoroki Shoto. Do you remember him?" i asked and his answer surprised me a bit.

"Oh yes yes, how could I not, he was a..... special kid."
"What do you mean?"
"As he lived in our dormitory, he was here almost all the time. He was caught may time sneaking around the campus for no reason. The boy had stoic personality and always seem unbotherd even by teacher's.
But he got in a lot of trobule with other students." those informations were really important and I was thankful for that, but I didn't like one thing. They way he spoked. It was a tone of dislike and even anger.

" But he was accepted to the UA after all. I've seen his final and entery exams score, on of the heighest this year." I pointed out, he can't speak about Todoroki all bad.
"Indeed, learning never was a problem for him. But even thought I was lets say... suprised when he got into your school. He had no recomendations from me."

"Why didn't he?" he was starting to annoy me.
"I simply didn't think he deserved them. Becouse of his behaviour. I mentioned before, he was a trobule maker and always so stubbron. He usually fought with the same group of students. Yet when they landed here he was saying he didn't do anything, when the other few said an opposite."

now I was boiling with anger.
'Of course they said the opposite but the fact they were a group doesn't mean they didn't lie!' I thought.
Althought everything I needed to get more informations. So Icontinued our conversation.

" So his parents were called often, right?"
"Yes, we called his father. I know him in person, he's a bussy man. When the situacion was serious we also needed someone to come to school. Almost everytime it was his older sister, always apologising for the boy."
He has a sister. Midoriya mentioned her too...
" A sister? "

" Yes. She's few years older then him. But she seems like a coplte opposite of her brother. While coming here so many times becouse of the boy's action, each time she was more sorry then him."
"Did she attend here too? "

"No, and I don't know where. To be honest I know nothing more about her."

"Thank you very much for those informations sir. Before I leave may I aske you a favor?"
"Of course, what is it?"

"Could I get my student's home number?"

In the evening that day (its Friday tho)

First step was compleadted. It was a great amount informations i gathered but I wasn't happy at all. That principal was awful. Speaking of the kid that way! How could he not see all of the trigers!? Now I'm not surprised Todoroki never asked for help or even talked to teachers. In his eye we would just blame him.
'Not good, definietly not good....'

But right now I need to do more. And my next move gonna be.....

No ones pov
"Hello? It's Todoroki's household." a female voice spoke.

"Good evening. I'm sorry to call that late. Could i speak with Todoroki Fuyumi?"

"It's me, how can I help?"

"My name is Aizawa Shota. Todoroki Shoto's homeroom teacher." Aizawa introduced himself.

"Did something happened? Did my brother do something? I'm really sor-"

"No please, he did not do anything wrong. But something... else happened. But i don't think it's a subject to discause at phone. If it's not a problem, I would like to meet with you and talk face to face. And sonner is better if possible."

"Oh.... If it is that important I'm free next two days. Would tomorrow at 3.00 pm be okey?"

"It would be perfect. Could we meet a school?"

"Yes, of course." Fuyumi answered. You could hear a bit of worry in her voice this whole time. It wasn't surprising thought.

"Good. Thank you, goodbye, ms. Todoroki ."

"Goodbye..."
She hanged up. Aizawa knew she must have been confused about the whole thing. But he couldn't wait any longer.
