Cancún. The best location for a nice, relaxing summer. I breathe in the fresh air, letting the sun warm my face.
"Nothing else can compare," I grin.
"Right you are my friend," the dirty-blonde next to me nods in agreement as he rests his black sunglasses on top of his honey locks of hair. "This is paradise!"
Erin Giovanni. He was my rival in the modeling industry, but best-friend of three years. I chuckle at his usual antics as he stretches out his arms, greeting Cancún with an air hug.
"Don't forget we are here to work." I remind.
Erin rolls his eyes, letting out an annoyed sigh. I lean onto the glass railing and tilt my head to the side amused.
"You suck the fun out of everything. How are we even friends?"
"You get us into stupid shit and I get us out of that stupid shit." I remind.
"Right, right."
I shake my head, but smile nonetheless. We walk back into our two-bedroom oceanfront suite and Erin walks straight to the mini bar.
"I know we came here to work, but we must enjoy at least one night of fun." Erin says as he pours himself a martini. "What do you say we hit the discoteca?"
"We have work tomorrow at five in the morning." I argue, but it does not seem to faze Erin.
"Please? Pretty please?"
I raise an eyebrow and sigh in defeat. "Fine!"
Don't get me wrong, I love myself a good night of partying, especially when there is beautiful girls involved, but I value my job. This modeling gig I have come to Cancún for is the very first job I got without having to use my father's money and I am not planning on messing it up. Especially after finding out my brother has become the new head of Hathaway Enterprises.
"You are thinking of your brother again," Erin points out in a sing-song voice.
"How did y-"
Erin motions his hand at my face. "You always make that Grinch-like scowl when you think or talk about him."
I frown, but I know he is right. I despise my brother. Always having to live under his shadow and watch as he got everything I wanted. Argh. I shake the feeling away before it ruins the rest of my day.
"Just start getting ready before I change my mind." I state and Erin does as told.
"Yes sir, yes!" He marches away as if he were a soldier in the military and I chuckle.

"This is the life!" Erin shouts as he bounces to the rhythm of the music.
I take a drink from my honey brown liquid, letting the burning feeling lighten me up. Hola by Dalex was playing loudly and everyone let themselves move to the beat. I bob my head, watching Erin attempt to flirt with the girls at the nightclub.
The vibration coming from my pocket distracts me and I turn to my phone. A smile creeps on my face as I see the familiar name flashing across the screen.
"Who's got you smiling like that?" Erin asks as he walks over to me, ready for another drink.
"No one," I lie as I try to hide the phone from him, but fail.
Erin snatches the phone from my hands. "Ouu, it's Aurora." Erin presses the green-accept button and I launch forward but he blocks me. "Hey, Auroraaaa. Yes, he is right here with me."
"Give me the phone Erin." I growl.
"Looks like Quinn is so eager to talk to you so I'll pass the phone over to him but you take care. Bye." Erin hands me the phone with a mischievous grin. "Your girlfriend wants to talk to you."
"She's not my girlfriend." I hiss.
"Yet," he smirks as he walks away.
I roll my eyes and bring the phone to my ear. "How's my favorite girl?"
I can hear her giggle at my flirty tone and it brings a smile to my lips. I can already picture her little cute self blushing.
"I'm good, but piled up with tons of work."
"That's great news, though. It means business is blooming for my little fashion designer."
Aurora giggles once more.
"It has been tiring but I am getting Elusive out there. I have so many orders, but thankfully..."
The rest of her words fade into the background as I lock eyes with the beautiful brunette standing a few feet away from, swaying to the music.
"Hey, Aurora, Erin needs my help with something. I'll call you back later, okay?"
"O-Okay, umm take care then. B-"
Mesmerized by the brunette I end the call without thinking. I slip the phone into my pocket as I stand up and make my way to the beauty. Like a magnet she draws me in, little by little without even trying.
"Hola, Bonita. What's your name?" I ask seductively.
She turns around to face me, an amused smirk on her scarlet lips. Her brown eyes staring up at me, ever so captivating.
"Elena. Elena Castillo."
