I feel the bright rays of sunlight shining through the curtain. I rub my eyes and smile as I remember the events from last night. I turn around and quickly sit up when I find the side next to me empty. My phone begins to ring and I quickly get up and look at it through the scattered clothes. I dig into the pocket of my pants and answer the call.

"Hello?"

"Quinn, it's me Erin!" His voice sounds very shaky. "Look, I am at the police station and I did not know who else to call. They're nuts man! They are saying I killed somebody! Please come!"

"Killed somebody? What are you-"

"Alright, times up!"

"Wait, no—C'mon please! Quinn please come!"

The call ends and I stare down at my phone. Before I can process what Erin said, I hear loud banging coming from downstairs. I grab a pair of pants and t-shut before rushing downstairs.

"How can I help you?" I ask the police officers standing on the other side of the door.

Theo emerges from behind them with a smug expression and my eyebrows furrow together.

"Quinn Hathaway, we need you to come to the police station with us. We have a few questions we'd like to ask you about the murder of Gina Rodriguez." Theo states as he shows his badge.

"Excuse me?" I ask defensively. "Can you explain to me what the hell is going on?"

"Just come with us," Theo states. "We can do this the easy way or the hard way. You choose."

"Give me a second," I mutter.

I walk over to the shoe stand near the entrance and slip on a pair of vans. I step outside after grabbing my keys and the officers escort me into the back of their car. Theo takes a seat at the passenger seat, his triumphant smirk never leaving his face.

       "Where is Mia?" I bark.

"You do not need to worry about her," Theo hums.

I sink back into my seat with my fists clenched together. I am beyond confused, but I can not help but wonder if I will finally get the full story about that night six years ago.

"Can you at least tell me why I am taking down to be questioned about this murder?" I ask.

"Because you are associated with Erin Giovanni who has been arrested for the murder of Gina." Theo answers dryly.

"Erin wouldn't murder anyone!" I defend.

Theo turns to me with a mocking smile. "Yeah, well the DNA found on the victim's corpse matches that of your friend, so."

I am taken aback. They found Gina's body. I want to ask them more, but I know that if I do they will use what I say against me.

The car pulls up at the local police station. Theo and the officers escort me inside and I find Mia talking to William.

"Mia!" I call out. "What is going on?" I ask when she turns to look at me.

She rushes over to me with a guilty look.
