chapter 5: worried

" Babe I want you to know something very important" Gabriel said after they had settled down at home .

Trisha's actions only proved to Gabriel that there was no way she would ever change so he needed to let Dora know so she could be aware of the things Trisha was capable of doing .

Trisha had always done one thing or the other to chase away any female that got close to Gabriel.
When they were in college she announced to the whole school that she was engaged to Gabriel but he would surely deny her because he was shy .

Gabriel was dumb founded when he heard the news . That's when he realized that Trisha wasn't just crushing on him , she was also a little pysco about him and that wasn't good .

"If it's about Trisha and what just happened then don't bother telling me okay ...a girl will always know when someone else likes her man " Dora said trying to ease the tension visible on His face .

" You know ?" Gabriel asked feeling surprised.
" Yes ...why won't I , am a female remember" Dora replied and gave a faded smile
"

Am sorry you have to endure her nuisance for me " Gabriel said after realizing his woman was being strong just for him . The least he could do was show her a little support.

"But am worried she could do something to you ..Trisha is a living pyscopat who can do anything to get what she wants , you can't imagine what she's capable of doing" Gabriel tried explaining to her how far Trisha could go for love .

"Leaving you will never be an option for me..I can promise you that much " Dora held his hand , looking straight into his eyes and said those words that touched his heart.

"You remember kina , my ex girlfriend who I told you about...the burns on her face weren't caused by an accidental fire ...it was caused by acid " Gabriel spoke like a person lost in a terrifying dream .

"How did that happen ..?" Dora asked

" Trisha!...she spilled acid on kina , she couldn't bare seeing me with someone else and kina had to suffer for Trisha's obsession " at this point Gabriel's eyes were filled with dark colds of terror .

"Hahs!" Dora couldn't believe this .
"Was this the level of her madness " Dora's terrified aura filled the room ..if Trisha could do this to a person who didn't even do anything to her ...what would she do to Dora who agued with her this afternoon.

" That's why am worried for your life ..I don't want to be the reason you lose your life .." Gabriel said

" I won't loose my life Gabe...don't worry please " Dora tried consoling him .

" It will be better if we break this relationship .." Gabriel uttered and Dora teared up immediately..he was thinking of leaving her , he was really thinking of breaking her heart .

"Why..why..would you ...be thinking ...no ..no I won't leave you Gabe " Dora couldn't accept another heart break ..no.

"I only engaged in this relationship because I thought Trisha had learnt her lesson from going to the lock up"

"So because she came back you think it'll be best to leave me are you insane Gabriel...am a human and I have feelings..you can't just come and go when you want...I thought you said you loved me" Dora became furious at how Gabriel could chicken out at just a single visit from Trisha . She couldn't see herself handling another heart break .

"No..that's not what I meant .."
"Then what do you mean Gabe" Dora asked

"Okay .. calm down at least ...we won't consider that option " Gabriel reconsidered seeing how that would affect her even without Trisha doing anything .

"But you considered it and that hurts alot ...why .why would you even ..." Dora couldn't continue because she was now pressed on a muscular feature ... Gabriel's heart was in turmoil seeing her in pain and he clearly didn't want that

"Am sorry I thought about it ...am really sorry "

"I understand Gabe you can let go now " Dora said and freed herself from the emotional prison.

"It's already late ...let's freshen up and go to bed " Gabriel said .

"Alright...dinner will be served in a few minutes". Dora responded and rushed into the kitchen .
