WARNINGS: smut! only a little bit of plot but its all an excuse for smut, jealous loki, possessive loki, loki invades your privacy, you and loki are both kinda assholes in the beginning, oral sex, fingering, loki uses kylo to fuck (with) you, possessive sex, lots of whining, use of pet names, mentions of characters reading fanfiction, aftercare is present but not mentioned for nearly long enough, the ending is so cute i could gag, loki uses his magic a lot in this, kylo needs more dialogue but sadly isnt going to get it, lots and lots of touching.

I've literally been talking about writing this fic for months and months now, so really I'm so happy and relieved to have finally written it.

This one is kinda inspired by nurseofren on tumblr (who some of you may know as the author of the Kylo Ren fic Keeping Your Promise) who wrote a Phillip Altman fic where he catches you reading Kylo fic and then dresses up as Kylo Ren for Halloween (and sexy times happen). It's one of my favorite one shots and I will definitely be linking it at the end.

Also the fanfiction quotes I use in this are from "Star-Crossed" by _meggie_may she's one of my lovely friends who graciously gave me permission to use quotes from her Kylo Ren fic (please check her out!)

The first time you learned about Loki's abhorrent jealousy over your love of a fictional character, you just about laughed yourself to death. You couldn't believe it. Couldn't believe he would be so petty.

Well, actually you could.

But for him to see a fictional crush as a threat to your relationship?

Ridiculous.

So of course you teased him about it.

And while that it may have been all fun and games at first. Forcing him to watch as you went all gaga over a Star Wars character, and immediately buy up a bunch of merch with said character's face on it. Especially one that you knew so many other people had the exact same crush on. But as time went on, perhaps it had been a mistake.

After that first instance, Loki only got more and more possessive. Which in retrospect you liked sometimes. Him being possessive over you, protective of what was his. But such intense jealousy over a fictional character? Someone who wasn't real? Someone you wouldn't, couldn't, have a chance with?

The first evening you wore your Kylo Ren shirt to bed you watched out of the corner of your eye as Loki glared at the article of clothing for a solid ten minutes before he was practically ripping it off of you and shoving you down on the bed so that he could have his way with you. His fervent touches, and fiery kisses had been distracting enough at the time, but the next morning when you found a the shirt haphazardly thrown to the floor with a hole in the side of it, you realized what had happened.

But really, you were stubborn. You weren't going to let Loki dictate what you did in your free time or what you purchased with your own money, or even what clothing you wore to bed.

He didn't have to sit there in the room with you while you comfort watched The Force Awakens over and over again. Or while you rewatched The Rise of Skywalker just for that one beginning scene where Adam Driver looked like absolute perfection while murdering a bunch of nameless characters (despite how unfortunate of a movie it turned out to be, really).

He didn't have to be present while you sat on your phone and read Kylo Ren x Reader fanfiction. In fact, he didn't even need to know you read it at all. It was something you would take judgement from no one about. You'd become friends with so many talented authors and really not only was their work so interesting and fun, but half your reason for reading their work was because you wanted to support them. It just worked out to your benefit that the main subject was someone you also had a massive crush on.
