Chapter 2,
Clubbing?
"Sure thing I'll see you later, bye" she called out as if I were never coming back. She seemed to care, well I didn't.
I left and headed back to school to eat, the Journalists club started after lunch and I wanted to go so I ate and left afterwards. I entered the Journalist Club and noticed there were only three people there counting me. I felt alone like I was in a group of people that were anonymous to me. A slight breeze fell across my face, I twitched. The club was over on the other side of the room having a meeting, I slowly walked over.
"Hi...I'm.
I froze for a minute forgetting my own name.
I then fixated and snapped back to reality.
"Lisa and I'm joining the journalist club, if this is the right area."
I waited for a response and silence fell above the room. Finally after thirty seconds it felt like of silence one of them spoke up.
"We'd love to have you." He smirked.
I couldn't tell if it was sarcasm or not, but I didn't care all I wanted to do was wright, let my passion spill over the crippled papers.
I joined the conversation and discovered they were discussing a way to plan out the school blog and news paper so I decided to speak up.
"I'll do the school news paper!"
I raised my hand as if I were still in elementary school.
"Um, I don't mean to be rude but you shouldn't."
"And why is this?" I asked confused thinking he thought I wasn't worthy.
"Well you are really..." He mumbled under his breath while looking at his pencil.
"I'm not what?!" I rose my voice at him.
"Never mind you can do it." I could tell I came off scary to him but what ever got me doing the paper works.
The ball rang and I had science, I was told to wright this month's paper about science, all I had to do was make it interesting. I took my notepad and pencil with my binder to science. The science class had mixed amounts of grades including, juniors and up. There were three science classes and all the high schoolers were mixed in those three, it was captivity and informal. Everyone didnt mind though, we all just went to class and did our thing.
