I looked up from my phone, it was c/n!
My cheeks turned red and my stomach instantly got filled with butterflies. He sat down next to me, sighing.
'I don't have a date, want fruit punch?' He offered, holding two cups filled with a red drink.
'Thank you, c/n' I say, getting one the cups he had in his hands.
'Why are you all alone? Shouldn't you be with your friends, I never see you without them' he asked.
'They forced me to show up, looking like this..' I answer, my eyes getting watery.
'Hey, hey, don't cry! You look beautiful tonight. They seem awful to let such a gorgeous girl be alone on a night of love.' He said, wiping my tears with his finger, my cheeks heat up.
'If it makes you happy, we can dance together?' He offered, smiling and standing up, holding his hand out.
'I would love to, thank you c/n' I say, holding his hand and standing up in front of him.
He blushed, leading me to the crowd so we could dance.
Right as we got on the dance floor, the music slowed down and everyone started dancing with their s/o. I frowned at the sight.
He whispered in my ear, 'pay attention to me'
I nodded, gulping and putting my hands on his shoulders. He put his hands on my waist, looking down at me with a smile.
The light shined on everyone but it felt like it only shined on us. I couldn't believe it, I was slow dancing with my crush!
But how did he not have a date tonight? He's one of the popular boys, everyone thinks they're funny and attractive.
I looked up at him, staring at his beautiful e/c eyes and the rest of his facial features. He pulled me closer with our noses almost touching, I could feel his warm breath. My lips part, getting ready to kiss him as I look at his lips.
He knew what I was think about, so he granted it. He filled the tiny gap between us and kissed me, I kissed him back. My hips swayed as we kissed under the lights, but we didn't notice that everyone was paying attention to us. He deepened the kiss by cupping my cheek and pressing against me. Wow he is a great kisser.
We both ran out of breath and pulled out, chuckling a bit.
