Just as I said those words, I ran out of the room to my car. Just when I was about to open the door to my car, Someone stopped me by holding my wrist. I looked up to see who it is and to my surprise, it was Zayn.
Zayn: "Mia, I am so sorry. You've to go through all of this. But please believe me. Give me one chance, and I'll prove love to you.
Mia: "Zayn, you're no different. You also broke my heart the way Harry did. The thing is that I met Harry 2 months before, and it doesn't hurt that much than it was when you broke it."
Zayn: "I am so sorry, Mia. I didn't mean it. I just wanted you to be happy."
Mia: "I would've been happy if I was with you. I was about to tell you about my feelings on your birthday if you could have waited 5 minutes before proposing to Veronica, this day could have been different for all of us. You and I would be happy together. I won't have gotten my heart broken by Harry. I and Harry could still be friends. And everything else would be fine."
Zayn: "I know and I also know I can't change the past, but I can make our future happy if you say yes to be my girlfriend, Mia. Please."
Mia: "Zayn, I like you more than I have ever liked Harry. I tried stopping liking you, but every time I tried, I failed. I just like you so much. Not to sound like a slut. But, It will be my honor to be your girlfriend."
Zayn stood there, processing what I just said. I was standing there smiling and as I saw a smile approaching his face. I got happier. He lifted me and started spinning me around. As he stopped, our lips met, and we kissed. I felt butterflies in my stomach fluttering. It is the best feeling of my life.
Finally, everything is fine. I got the love of my life, my soulmate. Now, this is the best day of my life.
We broke the kiss and stared into each other's eyes. It felt like we weren't saying anything, but our eyes were saying everything.
