Chapter 7: New Boy and New Mistake

It was Friday, and I didn't go to school for the rest of the week because I got injured badly. Also, I wanted to teach Veronica a lesson, but I didn't have a plan. Now, I don't even need revenge.

These 3 days, I was thinking of a solution, and I finally came up with one last night. It was to just ignore both of them. I have no regrets about losing Zayn because he wasn't a good friend to me. Good friends take their friends' side, but Zayn does the opposite.

He can stay with his slutty girlfriend. I don't give a fuck. He finally showed me his 'real side,' and it hurts me that I wasted 4 years waiting for him when all he did was dump me.

I finally decided to get up from my bed and get ready for school. I quickly made my way toward the bathroom and jumped in the shower. I took my time in and finally came out of it after 15 minutes. I looked at myself in the mirror and saw some of my scars were fading away, but they were visible.

I sighed and did my makeup. I didn't like to do heavy makeup. so I did light but enough to cover my scars. "I don't want anyone seeing them," I mumbled and continued doing my makeup.

I was finally done with my makeup. I quickly wore my clothes and went downstairs. I ate my breakfast in a hurry, and since I was already late for school, I picked up my car keys and drove to school.

I reached school in like 10 minutes. I parked my car in the parking lot and went inside the school gate.

On my way, I met the love birds, I kept ignoring them, and when they were out of sight, I realized Zayn didn't even say 'Good Morning' to me. "Well, it's fine. It's not like I was going to reply to him anyway." I thought as I entered my Biology class.

"God! Why do I have a class with the prick?" I thought and took my regular seat, which was next to Zayn.

I waited for the teacher to start the class and saw as Zayn entered the classroom and started wandering around the room like he was looking for a new place to sit.

"Well, it's not like he's gonna find one. He came late to the class, and all of the seats are taken except for his usual seat." I thought as Zayn reached his "usual" seat.

He set his belongings on the table and took a seat. I didn't say a word, nor did he. I sighed, and the teacher started teaching us.

The teacher had to go somewhere, so she ended the class pretty early. It was just the students from Biology class who were roaming in the school. I didn't mind them and made my way to the park on the other side of the school.

On my way to the park, I was thinking about Zayn. No matter what I do, he's always in my brain, and it's driving me nuts!

While thinking about all this stuff, I crashed into someone and fell to the ground. "Ouch!" I exclaimed in pain. I looked up to see who I crashed into and saw a tall figure standing above me. He had curly hair and emerald eyes. The boy gave me his hand to pull me up. I took it and got up.

"I am so sorry. I didn't mean to walk into you." The boy apologized. "Oh, no-no-no it's not your fault. It's mine. I was the one lost in her own world and not paying attention to the goddamn world." I said, and the boy smirked. I got confused and started replaying what I just said in front of him, and god damn, I'm embarrassed.

"I'm sorry. I didn't realize I said way too much. I just have a habit of saying way too much." I once again apologized, totally embarrassed. The boy shooked, "It's alright, love. I don't mind. I love the way you speak." He complimented me, and me being me, started blushing. "Stop blushing, Mia!" I mentally said to myself.

"Oh, well. Umm thanks? I guess." I said awkwardly. To be honest, I don't really know how to reply to a compliment. I guess I just have never got many compliments. The boy just gave me a small smile and started looking around.

"By the way, are you new here?" I asked him since he looked unfamiliar and also the way he was acting was different.

"Yeah," He replied. "Actually, I just joined today, and this girl was giving me the school tour, but I lost her track, and now I'm here. Lost." He added.

"Oh. It's alright. I can give you the rest of the tour." I suggested, and the boy nodded in agreement. "What's your name?" I asked him. "Harry. Harry Styles." He said, and I smiled. "I'm Mia."

"Nice name, Mia." He complimented...again, and stupid me started blushing again. I stopped blushing when I felt my phone vibrating. Someone was calling me.

I quickly took my phone out of my bag and checked the caller ID. It was 'Jesy.' I picked up the phone,

"Mia? Where are you?" She questioned. "Umm, at school?" I replied with an obvious answer. "That I know!" She said, and I started laughing. "I'm outside the art room," I told her. "I see. Have you seen a tall boy with uh green eyes?" She asked, and it felt like I'd seen that person, and this reminded me that she was talking about Harry!

"Are you talking about a boy named Harry?" I asked her. "Yeah yeah him!" She said but took a pause. "But...how do you know?" she asked, and I chuckled.

"Well, the boy you are talking about is standing right in front of me," I told her. "Oh. I see. You guys wait there for me. I'll be there in 5." she says and hangs up the phone.

"Well, I think I found your lost school tour guide," I told Harry, and he chuckled. "She'll be here in 5," I told him, and he nodded.

We both stood in front of the art room for 10 minutes, waiting for Jesy to come. None of us said a word to each other. It was like we wanted to say something and get to know each other but didn't know how. Finally, Harry said something, "Mia? Can I ask you for a favor?"

"Yeah. Sure. What is it?" "I got to know that exams are starting soon here, but I just got here, and I don't really know anything, so uh..." He took a pause, "Uh can u tutor me?" He asked and started doing that puppy-eye thing. I don't know if it was intentional or not but it got me to say, "Ok. I'll tutor you. Meet me after school, and we can study at my place." Harry smiled. "Thank you so much." He said. "You're welcome."

Just then, Jesy joined us. "I'm so sorry you guys had to wait. One of the teachers met me and started talking about my grades and stuff." She said. "Oh. It's ok." I told her.

"You guys continue with your little school tour. Imma head to my next class." I announced. "Ok. Bye. I'll see you after school." Harry said, and I gave him a small smile. "Jesy looked at me with a smirk, and I made a face telling her that it's not like what she thinks. "Ok," Jesy said and turned towards Harry.

"Bye, guys!" I said

"Bye." They both replied in unison, and I left for my next class.

A/N Hey guys! I'm so sorry you had to wait so long for an update but eh it's finally here! I know it wasn't a long chapter but at least thank me for posting. 🥺It took me so long to write this one as I was busy af with school and my love life. Ok ok I know you hate me I didn't tell you about my boyfriend but I didn't really wanna brag about it and  jealous all those single people out there. Well, I'm single now too so yeah I feel you guys. 

I promise you that I'll update this as soon as I get time. I'll try my best but I can't promise when I'm gonna update. No one knows what can happen in their life next so yeah I'll try to update it soon but when? Idk.
