Chapter-17 The Prom

(1 week later)

Zayn: "Mia, babe, please get ready as fast as you can, or else we'd be late for the prom."

Mia: "Just 5 more minutes."

I took a last look at myself in the mirror before walking out. It was our first prom together and I want to look my best. I walked outside to see Zayn, wearing a black suit and his hair looked perfect as always. He had a strand of hair falling on his forehead which made him look hotter. He looked me up and down.

Zayn: "Wow, Mia. You look beautiful more than beautiful than you look every day."

Mia: "Thanks, Zayn. Are we just gonna stay here and look at each other or go for the prom?"

He laughed and started walking outside the house and got to the car. Zayn started, driving it.

(Skip the car ride)

We got outside the car and intertwined our hands.

Jesy: "Hey! Love birds. How are you two doing?"

Mia: "We're good. How are you?"

Jesy: "I am fine."

Zayn and Jesy's boyfriend, Louis started talking. Louis and Zayn are best friends and I and Jesy are best friends. So, it's great to go on double dates, we never get bored or feel awkward.

After that, we took a lot of photos together and enjoyed the evening. It's the best prom of my life.

(2 weeks later)

Mia: "How was your exam?"

Jesy: "I think it went well."

Mia: "That's good."

Jesy: "Hey, since the exams are now over, wanna go on a double date?"

Mia: "I'll ask, Zayn. If he is fine with it, we can come."

Jesy: "Ok."

(1 week later)

Zayn: "Babe, how was your result?"

Mia: "I graduated!"

Zayn: "Wow! Congrats babe. I am so happy for you." He said, hugging me.

Mia: "What about you?"

His smile left his face. What happened? I got a little worried.

Zayn: "Just kidding. I also got graduated."

Mia: "I am so happy today. Finally, we get to go out of this place and build our careers. I am so fricking excited."

Zayn: "Yeah. Me too."

Mia: "Let's go home and enjoy the evening."

We started walking home.

These past few months weren't easy on me. I had ups and downs. I thought I won't get Zayn back ever in my life. But in the end, I got Zayn, and I just know he is my soulmate. I even got all the problems solved with Harry, and now we're on good terms. I finally got graduated from school and will be taking admission to the University of London, where I have forever dreamt of going. The day before yesterday, I got a call from there, and they accepted my application and want me to join there next month. Zayn, Jesy and my parents are happy for me. And if you are wondering what is Zayn going to do? Let me tell you, he is a great singer and would be going to the X factor to pursue his career in Music. I supported him in this decision and helped him convince his family. They finally agreed to it and told Zayn he could go there after graduating from school, which he already did. I and Zayn are happy together and still going strong, and I dream of getting married to him one day in the future.
