It had been a few days. It had been a few days since the Survey Corps had warned the villagers about the Titans. Sasha had been on the sidelines for a week. It took her a day to travel back to the headquarters. Only a few soldiers were left behind; left on the sidelines like her. "Sasha, we should probably clean." A soldier orders in a voice almost like a whisper. His eyes are puffy. He is the man responsible for the abandonment of the fallen soldiers from the 57th Expedition. No wonder why he's here. Some part of her felt guilty for getting mad at him. She nods and walks to go get a broom. Cleaning kept all the depressing memories out and was something to do. Something to draw attention from the bad memories.

Sasha walked near Mikasa's room. Looking at the hallow quarters made Sasha feel empty, or as if a part of her mentality was missing. She walked inside the room and sat on the bed. She remembered when she was here. When she held her, when she kissed her softly. She laid on the bed and exhaled. "I wish you were here." She spoke underneath her breath. She had laid there for minutes remembering the nights she spent with her. Remembering their first date, remembering her first time, every moment she spent with her. She got up and started sweeping. She had confidence that she'll be back. She had to come back! Once she comes back she can come back to a clean room! Sasha smiled at the thought of Mikasa being happy at the sight of her new clean room as she swept the room.

The sun rose early the next day. Sasha had slept in Mikasa's room alone. She rose out of bed and stretched. Sasha got her uniform on and started to walk to the mess hall. She was actually hungry. She hadn't felt like this in a while. It felt strange to be hungry again. She grabbed two bread rolls when she entered the mess hall. As she stuffed the first bite in her mouth she heard the soldiers talk. "Levi and his squad should be coming back today." A soldier said as she brought her teacup to her mouth. "Yeah. Hopefully the place hasn't got dirty." A solider said in response. "Yeah that would be wasted time." The teacup soldier replied. "She should be coming back." Sasha said under her breath with a smile. The thought of seeing her again made the joy run through her. She couldn't wait to wrap her arms around her and kiss her soft lips again.

She waited in front of the headquarters along with the other sideline soldiers. She wore her tattered hunting cloak. She saw the tall blonde on his horse ride in front of the Scouts with the hazel haired scientist and humanity's greatest soldier at his sides. The commander's arm was missing. Sasha covered her mouth and searched for Mikasa. Tears were welling as she couldn't find the raven haired girl. She wasn't there. She fell to her knees. "Mikasa...Mikasa....Mikasa." She choked as the salty drops raced down her soft cheeks. She couldn't have been eaten by a Titan. She was too strong. Was. "Sasha!" She heard someone say and the brunette looked up! A raven haired girl was running towards Sasha. It was Mikasa. A ocean of emotions drowned her. She got to her knees and ran to her. "MIKASA! MIKASA! MIKASAA!" She yelled as she ran. She couldn't believe it. She was alive. Mikasa wrapped her arms around Sasha and the two embraced. Mikasa kissed Sasha and put her pale hand on her warm cheek. Their lips parted and then they kissed again as people passed by. Sasha put her arms around Mikasa's neck and held on Mikasa's jacket tightly and started to cry on her shoulder. "I love you. I thought you were gone. I love you. I love you Mikasa." Sasha spoke between gasps of breaths. Mikasa held her tightly. "I love you so much Sasha." She spoke. "I couldn't stop think if you were okay or not. I love you so much." Mikasa said as started to squeeze the brunette. They separated and started to walk to the headquarters hand in hand.
