Day 14

Andy knocked on Maya's office door while walking in. "You have a minute?" Maya looked up from her paperwork "yes. What's up?״ Andy hesitated for a moment, not knowing how far friend will react or what she'd think. "I'm going back home so I'm gonna stop by after shift and pack my things" she eventually said.

Maya looked surprised "wasn't your separation supposed to be for two more months?" It felt a little judgmental but Andy knew it wasn't her intention. Andy let out a sigh "originally yes but things have changed so I'm... we're getting back together. It's complicated... but thank you for letting me stay with you" she smiled as she spoke, she was truly excited to finally come home, sleep in her own bed with her amazing husband.

"Of course, I'll never leave you homeless at the station" maya said making both of them leg out a small laugh "and also tell Carina thanks for me and don't forget to mention her amazing French toast" Andy smiled at her friend and left.

The shift was over, Robert went back home and Andy went to maya's. On her way there she texted Robert.

Andy: I'm going to Maya's to pack my stuff and then I'm coming straight home 😉

Less then a minute later her phone buzzed telling her he replied but she only saw the text when she parked her car.

Robert: finally, I can't wait❤️

She slightly smiled to her phone. Going up to the apartment she thought about how long and hard was her and Robert's way until they finally got together. And how grateful she was for him.

An hour later she stopped at the driveway to the place she calls home. Taking her large bags and the suitcase, she struggled a little bit carrying them to the front door. Robert probably herd her car or something because five seconds later he opened the door for her and helped with the suitcase.

"I could handle that myself" she said when he closed the door behind them "I'm sure you could I just wanted to help because the faster you do that the faster I can do this" he cupped her cheeks in his hands and connected their lips in a passionate loving kiss.

She smiling into the kiss, placing one hand on the back of his neck pulling him closed and deepening the kiss.

Both breathless, they pulled away from the kiss smiling from ear to ear. "Take me upstairs?" Andy was simple, she didn't want to do it on some weird ass places, their bed felt like the most private, romantic and suitable place for what they knew was going to happen.

Robert smirked, he knew it wasn't really what she meant but he did it anyway. He picked her up, his hands under her ass and started walking towards the stairs. "I didn't mean that literally!" She yelled playfully he didn't say anything back so she just wrapped her legs around his middle realizing he wasn't going to put her down yet "if you drop me I swear to god I'll-"

"You'll what?"

"I don't know I'll figure something out!" She laughed. At this point they were in their bedroom and he gently put her down on the bed. He claimed on top of her connecting their lips once again for a passionate deep kiss, full of love and caring.

They were lying naked in bed under the covers in the afterglow, Andy's head on Robert's chest, her hand tracking invisible shapes on his bare skin. Robert had one hand around her and the other one going through her hair.

"I missed this" he placed a kiss on her forehead "me too. This bed felt way too big without you in it" she looked up to him and smiled.

"I need water" she said, basically asking Robert to go downstairs and bring her a glass. He sighed "I'll be right back" he put on some boxers and got out of bed. Andy put her panties back on and went to the dresser, she chose a navy blue t shirt of Robert's and put it on with nothing underneath. Then she crawled back into bed.
