Chapter 32

Krystal sends a wink towards Severus which made him smirk since he knew that was Krystal being smart with him which was something she would do towards him as a fun way to tease him. She was not flirting and Severus never took it that way since he looked at her like a younger sister but Gellert did feel a little jealous. He never really saw Krystal interact with Severus often so he couldn't help but question it. Minerva and Albus thankfully noticed it. As everyone left the room, Minerva stopped Gellert without Krystal knowing while Albus made sure she didn't notice.

Minerva: Grindelwald, are you feeling jealous?

Gellert: Why would you say that?

Minerva: I can sense it. It's because Krystal sent a wink towards Severus.

Gellert: Alright. I was.

Minerva: Don't be. Severus looks at Krystal like a younger sister. She looks at him like an older brother. We all do. Krystal and Severus would always tease each other by acting smart. Krystal would always tease him by stumping him.

Gellert: I see. I just never saw her interact with him much.

Minerva: I know. Don't worry. One more thing, do you love her?

Gellert: I will not answer that.

Minerva: So be it. I respect that. Good luck anyways. *smiles*

Minerva walks away to find everyone else, leaving Gellert there feeling like an idiot that he got jealous. Eventually, he left to do other stuff. Albus on the other hand decided to talk to Krystal.

Albus: Krys...

Krystal: Yes?

Albus: You're going to have to be careful with Gellert's feelings. I think he's getting jealous of how you winked at Severus. He doesn't know how you look at Severus.

Krystal: I look at Severus like a brother. I didn't mean to hurt him...

Albus: It's alright. Minerva is talking to him to settle things. Are you in love with him?

Krystal: Who? Gellert?

Albus: Yes. Who else?

Krystal: Fair point. I-i... Maybe?

Albus: Well, that's good. It's about time.

Krystal: Please let me take my time though. Don't push it.

Albus: You have my word. I'll let the rest know, minus Abernathy and Credence since that would feel a little weird for you.

Krystal: Thank you Albus. One more thing. Has Gellert ever been in love?

Albus: Not that I know of. But he does seem smitten by you.

Krystal: Oh... *blush* Alright.

Krystal walks away to her room before flopping onto the bed. She decided to skip dinner that night and just get some rest. She sat on her bed reading. Gellert on the other hand couldn't help but worry since Krystal didn't come back down. After dinner, he came to Krystal's room to check on her. He knocks on the door after hesitating. At her voice, Gellert opens the door.

Gellert: Are you okay?

Krystal: Yes. Why?

Gellert: You didn't come down for dinner.

Krystal: I was thinking. I had a lot on my mind.

Gellert: I see. There's something I need to tell you. May I come in?

Krystal: Please do. Have a seat.

Gellert walks in and sits down on the bed. Krystal notices that there is worry in his eyes so she grabs his hand.

Krystal: Is something wrong?

Gellert: I have a feeling that when we get back, something is going to happen...
