Don't Hurt My Yoko [Yoko x Hiei]

It'd been a few days since Yoko had been in the meadow. His wounds were starting to heal quick. Of course, Hiei had been watching over and taking care of Yoko's every need. The fox demon thought it was sweet. Hiei helped him with everything. Even if it could be done on his own, like standing up. Hiei just insisted to help him; he would not see his beloved get hurt in any way. It was cute, how caring the dragon wielder was. Always protecting and making sure he was alright. After all, it was now his duty to look after him. Yoko entrusted him with his life, after all. So he made it into his top priority to protect him from any danger whatsoever. Any risk, he wouldn't allow. And he mase sure that nothing hurt Yoko, not even a little paper cut. That's how protective he was. It was a little extra, but to be fair, Yoko was still recovering from incredibly fatal wounds. Wounds he would have died from if Hiei had not saved him. He wouldn't, and couldn't, let his lover get hurt in any way possible. He wasn't going to let that happen so easily.

"Hiei?" The fox demon asked.

"Yes, my love?" Hiei turned his attention to his mate.

"How quickly are my wounds healing? Can you tell?" Yoko asked.

"They're healing pretty quickly." The dragon wielder and jagan master said, kissing his cheek. The fox nodded, his tail swaying a little.

"I can't wait until I'm fully healed." He then said.

"Hm, and why's that?" Hiei asked as he gently wrapped his arms around Yoko's waist.

"So I can call off all future Makai tournaments. And then I'll pronounce you the one and only ruler of the Makai." Yoko said.

"Why?" Hiei asked.

"I realized I'm just not suited to be in charge of anything. Besides, I have a feeling everything will be perfectly fine in your hands. It's not like you'll rule alone, either." He answered.

"That is true, I do have you as my mate to rule alongside me." Hiei said. The silver haired foxed demon smiled and kissed his cheek.

"I think the 'King' title suits you quite well, darling." Yoko said. The dragon wielder chuckled and gently pulled the fox into his lap.

"You can be my king. Or my second in command. Whichever you may prefer." Hiei said.

"Second in command sounds boring, if you ask me for my personal opinion." Yoko said, his tail swaying as he wrapped his arms around Hiei, purring.

"Heh. You appear to be in a good mood." Hiei said as he looked down at his lover.

"Well, I am in a good mood, cause I've got the best mate I could ever ask for." Yoko said. Hiei blushed, and smiled. He then kissed him on the head.

"I could say the same about you, my dear." Hiei said.

"Kiss me." The fox demon said. The jagan master smiled and then kissed him. The fox demon smiled as he kissed back. Just to be a little tease, Hiei slipped his hand up his lover's yukata. He then pulled away from the kiss, chuckling a little as he saw Yoko was red in the face. He found it so cute.

Yoko then kissed Hiei again, his tail swaying as he did. Hiei kissed back, wrapping one arm around Yoko's waist, while he rested his other hand on his thigh. After a good few minutes, Yoko pulled away from the kiss with a smile on his face. Hiei smiled, a fond look in his eyes.

Time seemed to fly by, because Yoko's wounds healed within a week. So, when his wounds were finally healed all of the way, he went to do as he planned. He held Hiei's hand gently, as he then announced,

"From now on, there will be only one ruler for the Makai ever again. And that is Hiei Jaganshi." Hiei smiled and gently kissed Yoko's cheek.

"Yes, and if anyone tries to hurt my mate, I will slaughter them. Because he will be ruling alongside me." Hiei said. Yoko then headed back to the meadow with Hiei. After they arrived, Yoko got comfortable and ended up sitting on Hiei's lap. At first, he blushed, not quite knowing what to do. However, he knew his mate wasn't trying to be intimate yet. So, he respected that, and he wouldn't push him, until Yoko decided he was ready.

He wanted to make Yoko feel good, in any and every way possible. Heated kisses and make-out sessions were the closest they were getting for intimacy, for now. As well as occasional teasing, but that didn't really count.

Hiei knew he had to be patient with Yoko, which he was.

"I love you.." The silver-haired foc demon mumbler as he snuggled against Hiei.

"I love you too." Hiei said. However, he was simply adoring his own mate. He couldn't help it. The fox was just absolutely adorable, according to him. That, and he enjoyed ruling over the Makai with Yoko by his side. Even if it hadn't been extremely long. After all, Yoko still got to be in some control. Oh, and he wasn't kidding when he saw that if someone were to harm his precious, he'd kill them. With absolutely no hesitation.

Not to mention, he was waiting for the day that him and Yusuke would fight again. However, it seemed like the rematch wouldn't be on for quite a while. So, until he got the chance to challenge Yusuke from brutal fight they had before, thinking about it would be the least he could do for now.

"Yoko?"

"Yes, honey?" Yoko asked.

"I love you so, so much. You are mine, and mine only. Besides. You wouldn't be able to understand how much I love you." Hiei said.

"Gosh, what did I have to do for you to finally say it first?"

"Well, you make me extremely happy, Yoko, my dear."
