Chapter 73

Jennifer's POV.

"Not today." Alaric said and Samuel's smile was gone.

"Your mom will be worried for you." I said to Alaric.

"I don't like there... there's no one with me to play..." He said playing with his food. He was upset.

"Okay I'll talk to your mom to let you stay one more day here. Okay." I said.

"But Jennifer..." Samuel didn't like the idea of him staying with us.

"Oh come on Samuel...just one day." I tried to convince him.

"Okay fine." He said irritated.

I informed Alice about it and took him to my room.

"Samuel I won't be coming to office today I'm staying here with Alaric." I can't leave him alone here. He didn't even talked to mom and dad he'll be alone if I will go to office.

"I'm not listening any excuse. You're coming and that's it!" He said.

"Samuel try to understand..."

"Fine stay here as long as you want." He said and marched outside shutting the door harshly.

"Is he angry with me?" Alaric asked innocently.

"No. Ofcourse not."I made him sit on the bed and asked,"So what do you wanna play."

After thinking about 10-15 minutes he finally said,"I wanna play hide and seek."

"Ok."

I closed my eyes and started counting. I asked him to hide.

I opened my eyes and I scanned the whole room I saw him behind the curtains but I pretended like I didn't saw him.

"Alaric... I'm coming...where are you..." I said and after a couple of minutes I finally caught him.

We played some video games on phone and solved a jigsaw puzzle. We were tired as hell.

"I am missing my mom I want to see her." He said.

"Of course Alaric, we will go there in evening."I was really worried for her I genuinely want her to heal completely. I don't want him to be alone or feel alone without parents.

"But I want to meet her now." He added," plzzz."

"Ok fine." I said and took him to the hospital. I went inside her room.

"I'm sorry...but he really wanted to meet you so I bought him here." I said to Alice.

"Its ok. I was missing him too." She said happily playing with him.

She looked upset these days. Her face was pale and she looked very ill. I really want her to be normal and healthy again.

Alaric was talking to her so I came out of the room to give them some time. I went to grab a cup of coffee where I saw Robert. I was really pissed and frustrated.

I wanted to punch him for my parents death but I cant be like him. I can't. I thought it was an accident. Dad Thomas thought it was his fault. Only if he wouldn't have failed the brakes my parents would have been alive today.

A tear dropped from my eyes. I really miss you mom and dad.

I went back to the room."Sorry. Did I disturbed you guys?"

"Funny." Alice said," Now go,and listen don't trouble her and be a good boy ok. Always remember mama loves you."

He nodded like an obidient child.
