So I live in Texas and we were learning about the Texas Revolution in school this happened recently by the way. The past two days I was not in my social studies class because I was sick, I had two ear infections and when I got back we were in the middle of watching the alamo. my teacher when the movie mentioned that Travis cheated on his wives but would never drink said, "Yes because cheating on your wife is so much worse than drinking" so I started to laugh. At least I released part of the tension in the room.
At the end of class, I walked up to my teacher and we started to talk about the joke and everything when she said, "It takes a very certain kid your age to get that joke."
So I responded with the fact that I also felt how high the tension was and had to laugh to defuse some of it because I could barely breathe it was that high and then I had to leave so said bye and went downstairs.
